I'll tell ya right now: if they keep adding hostile enemies and subsequently keep the player toothless, the player base will begin to fall away, especially for the recent console release. They'll just go play and support Ark instead. A developer can…

I get that the developers don't want the player to just go around killing things; to create an atmosphere of cohabitation mixed with survival. However, when you have 10+ hostile creatures in your game, many of them extremely lethal, it becomes excee…

Much appreciated. I'll give it another go then.

Alright so if I acquire a propulsion cannon I can clear that debris in the lower doorway? I also tried jumping over the debris blocking the hallway at the bottom of the ramp but to no avail.

There are only 3 achievements for the Steam PC version.
- Go down 40 meters
- Craft an O2 tank
- Report a bug
Definitely a priority to get those transferred over to xbox, asap... -
Lol Aurora has a MOTHER core, confirmed.

I posted this a week or so ago, but the forum got rolled back because of the hack:
The design is absolutely beautiful. You're clearly very talented, and it really looks like it belongs in Subnautica. But realistically speaking, with the … -

I have noticed that weird size thing as well. It happens on stable too. -
Unless the game area itself increases in size, I don't see a need for an even larger submarine. The Cyclops already is extremely useful and serves its purpose very well.

Recommended to me via the Steam queue.

Huh...for some reason the few times I've made signs, they never displayed that editing interface before. It was always just the text like when you edit a wall locker.
Edit: Just figured out why. Sometimes most of the interface gets hidde… -
Whenever I've tried to make a sign it only makes it barely the size of the text I type in.

It's a decent theory, but I don't think so. My thermal seabase has 300 power, and I've docked low power seamoths bringing the power down to 180. If you were right. I should've seen the power generation of 3 plants for 20 power, the… -
SeaQuest
Duh. -
There's only 3 achievement on Steam. And one is for reporting a bug through the in-game menu.
And why would Subnautica have xbox achievements when no other game on the xbox game preview program has them? Achievements won't come until the game … -
Not to mention said tank somehow instantly refills by surfacing.
-
Do you use an external HD or anything like that?
-
Yeah right now I have 6 thermal gens for a base Im building, and the wiki says that each one should be generating about 50 power/minute, and after I dock a Seamoth to recharge it really only looks like I'm getting the power generation from a single …

Select keel camera -> angle camera down -> descend

The one that connects to the ground via a relatively tiny pillar? I'm currently building a base there.
-
Was searching around and found this thread.
The base I'm working on is really deep down, so I had the idea of making landing lights going to the moonpool. Though it seems none of the bio-luminescent plants I grow outside actually throw off the… -

Yeah it happens when I'm in the cyclops. If it's a really old glitch then I guess that's why I couldn't find stuff when I searched. My bad. -
There's a camera located on the conning tower, it does exactly what you want and describe. Drive the sub and look to the left to access the cameras.

The point is the people making this game are game developers, not astrophysicists. So it's pointless to have a discussion over science that the people who made the game likely never considered in the first place.
It's … -
I finally fully outfitted my Cyclops and took her for a spin. She did pretty well for a first date
Right now I'm only playing… -

Ooooh sassy.
The OP is over-analyzing the science of a ship getting knocked out of orbit, when it's a science fiction game taking place on an alien planet, which already requires you to suspend the disbelief of existing techn… -
When visiting the floater island and the broken down structures there, you find PADDs containing info on the people who lived there. They say their ship was shot down by some kind of weapon, so they ended up salvaging what they could and establishin…

I have one hanging on the wall less than 2 feet from where I'm sitting, haha.
I discovered the effect when I accidentally screenshotted the game with my PADD open. Then I thought it'd be fun to have a sort of optical illusion… -
Couldn't find it on the store through my phone, so I thought my Galaxy S3 couldn't run it. But by clicking your link I'm installing now!

I know it's dumb, but I'm glad you guys found it funny and silly like I did, haha. This was created by taking an in-game screenshot, viewing it in the photo album, screenshotting THAT, and then repeated about 6 times.
