That doesn't make much sense, since the reason for all the sub-surface stuff is the crash. You should either assign a meaningful number to it (XR47-T4-C2, for example; Star system XR47, T-class planet that's fourth in the system, C… -
I think the storyline should end up with rescue being sent (or not sent if the company decides to just wipe you off the records to save money), but said rescue should never actually reach you in-game- it is said that it will take several years to bu…

I have something like 6 deaths so far. 3 from drowning, 2 from bleeders, 1 from crashes.

The speed is OK. Sure, it's not exactly realistic, but the amount of oxygen we can store in a tank is also appropriately smaller. For gameplay reasons taking three minutes to reach 200 meters would basically kill the game, it would just be plain bor…

I remember seeing a hint somewhere that Subnautica indeed is in the same universe as NS, it was on one of the patch minisites or something like that if I recall correctly.
-
I disagree. If they give us character customization they won't do something else, and since we can't even see ourselves it's mostly pointless. I'd much rather have a new (even simple) fish than female character and/or customization options.

While we're at it, do you plan to do something about that? -
I love the fact that the Seamoth now breaks into pieces when it's destroyed
-
Great job! Can't wait to see it beaten :P

Please no.

The thing is- Subnautica is so good specifically because it's so different from other games.
P.S. Don't take my post as an offense, I just didn't like the direction of changes you suggested. -
I have an even darker idea:
Once the corporation that sent Aurora finds out that the planet is not suitable for colonisation (because whatever destroyed aurora turns out to be too dangerous to make it profitable) and possibly when they find ou… -
I feel like crash explosions are unrealistic. they should be very dangerous if you're not in a vehicle, but not very threatening for seamoth. My reasoning is that when something explodes underwater, the shards don't go very far, it's the shockwave t…

I would like alive, genetically engineered peepers for my aquarium.

I'd like a huge monster that just approaches you (your PDA warns you of some sort of massive life form approaching) and if you don't go up just kills you (whether you are in a cyclops, seamoth, or just suit). Think Gothic II.

Leave it as it is, it's the first time I have all the achievements complete! xD
But seriously, they'll probably implement achievements once the game itself is ready. The three that are there look like test subjects. -
Inactive means that it isn't erupting.

I used farms as an example, and you wrote a whole (fairly offensive) post about how much of a fool I am for demanding farms. ...What?
My point is that an exosuit bay is basically another moonpool except for Exosuit (and if … -

Right now, cyclops is SO inferior to seamoth that making it weaker would make it worthless. The only use it has over Seamoth is for moving whole bases around- for every other scenario a Seamoth, a seabase, or a combination of those is superior (and …

I doubt it's possible to move the island. It's probably coded as immovable terrain (like the seafloor), and not as a dynamic object (like the small rocks carried by floaters). -

A common misconception. If we get the exosuit bay we're missing out on something else that could be done at that time, for example farms. In my opinion it'd be better to just make exosuit compatible with the moonpool and work on so… -
Solar- yes please
A map- a holoprojector with a map could be a cool device to have in a base or on a cyclops
Compass- already exists, crafted with magnetite

One more thing, it needs to be able to drain power from the station. Right now it's significantly inferior to Seamoth, as it forces you to waste a lot of time just to keep it powered (and with the seamoth upgrades the benefits it had over it are now…

Maybe at the edge of the mushroom trees biome? Or at the mountains at the edge of grand reef?

...Safe shallows? I tend to just build my base right under the pod.
This biome fits every part of your description. -

According to the update site, "The Seamoth is a one-person submersible with independent power systems. Originally designed for industrial mining operations". Why is there no mining-focused component, then? It would make resource hunting in certain b…
