Yeah, I don't understand the desire for gigantic subs. Maybe if this was like a multiplayer underwater Star Citizen type game, okay, but for one person to drive? In the game's fiction, even the Cyclops is said to be designed for a crew of, what is i…

How on earth did you get through the lava part without a cyclops stealthing past those dragon leviathans? Not to mention how in the heck long did it take you to navigate the lost river + lava lakes in just a prawn doing the spiderman thing along the…

A docking collar or cradle the size of a regular moon pool would probably be more practical given the size of most base buildings. Maybe as a cosmetic touch you could have little drones flying around the Cyclops' hull cleaning any fouling and perfor…

Maybe if you could point me to the toggle that turns off sea monster aggression while retaining all other aspects of the normal/hardcore survival experience, I'd be happy to swim around peacefully exploring and otherwise not engagi… -
It'd be nice to include as a cosmetic base customization item, maybe with some simple interaction to it, just like the bed.
But as a survival parameter or otherwise as a game system? I dunno. I'd rather build and explore than have to wor… -

Thanks! An extra option it is, then. Generally I'd prefer more options vs. replacements since there's always folks who like it one way, and folks who like it another way. Besides, the existing scanner room is already in the game an… -
There's already sonar? I wouldn't mind some kind of enhanced HUD functionality, though. Maybe filters for heat, radiation, etc. Could be a rather spendy piece for your head slot, or just an upgrade chip slot.

But she's violent and uses weapons to hunt sea monsters, so obviously she wouldn't fit into the arbitrarily weaponless and suicidally pacifistic world of the game.

You wouldn't have to use them, would you? Nobody's forcing you to. Unlike how people who do want to use weapons to defend themselves against swarms of aggressive sea monsters are forced not to for implausible and arbitrary reasons. -
I mentioned this elsewhere, but The Long Dark implemented in-game mapping beautifully. No GPS, no immersion breaking and inconvenience from needing to alt-tab out and look at jpegs. It's great.

Or access your upgrades panel...
Right now it feels to me like the Prawn is made to be a Cyclops-only vehicle. -
Agreed. Some mobile mapping functionality is sorely needed, preferably with an ability to add map pins/notes. It breaks my immersion having to constantly be alt tabbing out to look at map jpegs. See example of The Long Dark and how they implemented …
