Hey, heres a idea if somone could, model a Blue Gender pack, like marines are the Robots "Shrikes" and model like the aliens. i think that would owned <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->? any thoughts ?

1) Look retarded.
2) Feature the most rediculously STUPID choice of weapons.
3) They're completely invincible and mow through 800,000 enemies like paper, that are usually armed with much more practical weaponry and look much better.
4) Some strange combination of the above three.
I think Blue Gender was the first I've seen that actually made the mechs look fairly decent, and not stupid.
Then the mechs deployed roller skates and skated away. All I could think of was how much that was stolen from Heavy Gear.
While its great, we still want mechs for everything else...but alien models would be nice.

Escaflowne has some nice mechas, they use swords though but still, they're pretty cool.
I was thinking about somthing like this, If you scale all the models down so the 40 foot tall mech is about the size of a human, and scale the bugs the same, that would be extremely cool.
Case in point, the Arachnid from the ST pack, which has been through 4 incarnations and STILL has dire animation.
TBH I'd rather have models that are animated perfectly while not being hugely interesting, as opposed to an interesting model with little/no animation.

The Aliens would fit great as the Blue...I mean look at the infestation of the Karhaa on the maps, and the infestation of the Blue at places.
If could just be a thing where the Mini-Mech is the HA.....and just have teh LA marine look like the Marines in it.......i wish I had a picture....
