    damn you're fast. personally, i prefered it w/ a stock, but its pretty damn good. Looks a little too 2d, perhaps a little more depth/detail would help.

    It looks like it's made for two hands.

    But, whatever

    Looks like legos. But if it were smoothed out, It would have a lot of potential as a two-handed rifle.

    It looks liek that because he didn't sue "smooth-shading" for the render. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    That'd better not be a silencer on the front...i hate silenced gun replacements for guns that aren't meant to be silenced.

    (ps: pistol + mousewheel = 1H LMG <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> )

  • CaptainChetCaptainChet Join Date: 2003-04-21 Member: 15737Members, Constellation
    I just felt like modeling it accurately, but having one hand.
  • sk84zer0sk84zer0 Join Date: 2003-06-18 Member: 17478Members
    i think the jagged handles should go, they make the model look horrible
  • CaptainChetCaptainChet Join Date: 2003-04-21 Member: 15737Members, Constellation
    Dont wory about those, ill assign smoothing groups soon. Updated render:

    <img src='http://home.earthlink.net/~ilink109/mini_m4_3.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

    Please make an akimbo version for HMG as well. You know, Arnie-style dual machine gun action.

    hmm i was asked to model this by daza a few days ago b4 this topic appeared, ive only got a tiny pic of it though.

    does it ring any bells? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    well I also think that finishing the model would be tough since no one is actually commited to saying they are gonna animate/mesh/skin and stuff liek that. Just like the model he did of BioHazard's Concept. Which is still wiaiting on a better skin and anims. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Umm... I can animate BioHazard's model... If there isn't any other willing...

    the type zero short range battle firearm "rai-sen" or "thunderstorm" was exclusive designed by poseidon.co inc. famous gun designer and sculptor tanaka. ( Raisen original design ?poseidon,co,jp inc. kyoto-japan) the anime studio nitro+ used this weapon in their production"hello world"

    this is tanakas fictive rai-sen scenario for "hello world of studio nitro+"..

    because the 9mm parabelum bullets penetration efficiency of present smg?s was relativly low,because the new kinds of free aviable bodyarmors on the market,this gun was developed.
    the weapon should be the the size of the mp5k but have the firepower of the m4.

    the short range battle firearm "rai-sen" fulfilled this request. the raisen is using 5.56 millimeter fmj ammo at short distances,
    able to penetrate every type IIA and some type of IIIA tactical bodyarmor.
    you can load 15/20 or 30 round magazines.

    the appearance is dominated by the vertical four grip which is necerssary for full auto firing. the rise of the barrel at full automatic is held down to minimum.
    In addition, the neopuren grip absorbs the recoil,and makes stockless operation easy..

    the front grip is prepared with enough space to eqip it with laser sight..sure fire etc.. and internal power suply,this way you have not to rail it outside on the weapon.
    when u decide not to equip the weapon with them, theres a dustcover installed in this place.

    the weapon is also prepared to use a retractable stock and supressor

    blabla.. ive bored you enough..
    back to work.. im to busy for chit chat
