ok heres the water alien i was thinking of, it was a 17 minute job ^_^.
anywho it would be real fast in water, like as fast as a skulk moves, but on land it would be as fast as a gorge.
abilites
1- chomp- does 50 damage, considering the creature is slow the attacks could be harsh. 2- lash- does 80 damage, uses a bit of energy like leap does. 3- ecco- more like stomp only its a soundwave. 4- spike - it shoots all its spikes of its back and tail , uses all your energy but sprays a certain area and the spikes do 90 damage each and you can shoot 60 spikes in one go. it damages anything it hits. you need a full bar of energy to use this attack.

Good idea Tunska! the marines shouldn't be left out!! I might try something later. Kylie I was wondering why the original drawing is blue? Did you do it in blue pen? I noticed the guide lines on the tail so I assumed so. It looks sweet!! I personally like the uncolored version more.

well i read this post when it first was posted and immediately ran out and drew something i had been thinking of for a long time, but then my scanner crapped out on me so i was stuck with nothing to do. finally got it to work and so here is my quik sketch (not nearly as good as some of duenens or coils but i like it)
basic premise being kinda like the barncle whereas the alien likes to hang and cling to walls, ceiling, etc. also is able to latch onto marines and "suck" the life out of them slowly, as well as a grappling hook ability. was thinking it would have a tail swipe ability and a poison dart kind of attack.
