    I didnt say i wasnt going to buy HL2, oviously i will.
    just saying that the hl2 < doom3 engine. and please dont talk about realse not being for 6 months. doom3 does not come out till november. and like meny people have said the overall success of hl1 was not the GFX in the end but the support valve gives to the aftermarket. that being said the new hl engine looks great.

    sov, I haven't really looked into doom 3 at all. So could you tell me a bit about the engine, nothing about the graphics please. The meat behind the scenes only. Is all the wood breakable? Does every object have its own mass and is taken into account by the physics engine segment? Things like that, and more than just physics if you will please.
