After AGES of not playing Subnautica on my Xbox One, I'd like to know if I missed anything in the amount of time I've been gone;

Updates? New creature additions? Cutefish on the way (030) ?

Also; has lag been fixed? Or is it still kind of 'meh'?

Lag is better, but not fixed. Wait for polish months for a complete fix on that.

Polish months?

The 2-3 months where they aren't really adding much to the game, and are instead getting what's already there (basically the entire finished game) into shape for release.
