Hello,
I found this game very laggy and often crash if "I go to fast!". It was not a graphic card issue as I have lower all settings to low but it made no difference. I have notice its something to do with RAM access (full report posted below).

My gaming pc runs on AMD Phantom(tm) X4 965 processsor 3.4Ghz (not over clock) with 6GB DDR3 Ram and AMD Radeon Graphics Proessor (0x67DF) chip (Radeon TM) TX-480 Graphics with 4GB internal RAM.

Thx NIck.

New update just hit an hour and a half ago on Steam, grab that and see if it helps.

Couple of things, I found this, probably won't help in your situation (as your game does load fully) but just in case:

    :/ sorry to hear that.

Other than making sure everything is up to date (all drivers, BIOS, Windows updates), there's nothing to do but wait for a fix.

Bro I was just going to give up on this shit
    Wasted my whole 45gb data.

    Solution
    Just right click on subnautica.exe
    Click on properties
    Select compatibility
Check on "disable full screen optimization"
    That's it

In case anyone still have this problem, my solution was to uninstall the latest Game Ready driver (nvidia card), and install the latest Studio driver. No more access violation errors.
