I have played about 20 hours all on the current build and in the past week (only just bought the game)
Crash leaving island north west of the lifepod and heading in direction to lifepod

I have uploaded the crash files here:
crash.dmp
DxDiag.txt
error.log
output_log.txt

You might be seeing the same crash issue as I did. The crash seems to occur when approaching the thermal vent that is north of the life pod.

For me, the only solution has been to reset the terrain data as indicated in this post:

Read the whole thread; there's also a few other files to be deleted, and a way to make the terrain not clip into your base afterwards.

Thanks ill check that out. It has repeated the same crash the past 2 times i tried to play the game, I have a full inventory and the life pod is the closest of my bases.

i watched the video, but since i couldnt get to my base to take the batch files numbers i just deleted them all. it seemed to work and once i made it to my base, only had some minor
clipping, just deconstructed then rebuilt the part.
    Thanks guys

If you continue to crash like this, please upload your full saved game file (compressed as RAR or ZIP) somewhere for us to download, as well as your log files. We're still trying to gather evidence for this issue. Thanks.

After the cache and terrain data clear, the crash no longer occurred. I played for a few hours without any crashes (well i crashed my seamoth into a reaper but thats not the same).
I still have the save backed up, I could zip it and upload if it will help.

That's what he's asking for (if you still have the crashing save backed up) -- but I think what he wants would be:

back you non-crashing data up somewhere safe

restore your crashing data, load subnautica, let it crash (so as to create the crash logs)

then, upload saved file folder + crash logs.

So that way they get the bad data + the logs that explain (hopefully) what went wrong.

    Make sense?
