Natural Selection 2 just got 100k in a week with the Reinforcement Program it is so cool that ns2 has such a strong and committed community that I am happy to be a part of :')
The current average is about 59$ a person, that's pretty impressive even though that figure is probably skewed as hell.
Yeah that's pretty much all of us forum nerds I guess. I rarely see any badges here other than Shadow or Onos. Now we would need to get the regular people to buy the lower tiers en masse. I for one wouldn't mind if they sweetened the $10 and $20 tiers a bit somehow.

I think we're looking at a not-quite 50/50 split on Shadow-and-above donors versus Diamond-and-below. Considering the Onos badges were $333, Diamond-and-below is probably the larger group.

I picked gold because I wasn't going to use anything other than black armour, and the gold shoulder badge looks better on black than the shadow shoulder badge

I'm hoping we get the option to switch between shoulder decals, because I personally prefer the gold wings.
Well, it's still less then one fifth of the target amount. And if it is not met, UWE will probably pocket the money and move on to produce smileys for Facebook apps, or something similar in profitability. So, what's the plan, where to get those remaining 450K? Personally, I am dry!
I want to reiterate again that I could have easily donated ~$200 but the onos badges were sold out when I arrived and the next level up from shadow was $8000.
EIGHT THOUSAND
UWE you are not a developer of classic rpgs that have moved hearts and changed peoples lives. I hate to break this to you but no-one's going to pay $8000 or $75000 when they don't even know what exactly they're going to get back in return especially if it's not a sequel to a classic franchise like Baldurs Gate, Planescape Torment, or Chris Roberts games.
You really really should have had a $125 and $200 tier and more of the $333 tier, there would have been many who would have willingly donated, regardless of whatever superfluous rewards ands skins and badges.
As it is now you are shit out of luck because the vast majority of casuals are not going to even dole out $5 because they have no commitment to this game, since they will have bought this for $6 on the 75% off weekend.
I would have loved to donate more, but I've already invested a lot of money into this game with the monthly server rental fee (even though depara carries most of it). Just can't blow all my money into video games =/.

You are allowed to donate more than the badge itself is worth, but it has no additional rewards.
And if I understand how the purchases work, you could actually obtain multiple of the same badge, then hold on to the humble bundle links to the codes indefinitely. You could gift the links to friends and other players allowing them to have fancy skins/soundtracks/etc. like some kind of Shadow Oprah, or possibly trade them for other items on Steam. Although this may be illegal and/or a violation of the Terms of Service. There is a "Purchase as a Gift" button. Silly me.
Agree but still, almost 3 years of fun, over a decade if you count NS1 in, it is worth the money! Especially if you look at other games that charge you 30 bucks and more just for a handfull of maps and that 3 times a year...
Too bad the onos was sold out in 10s!
Atleast you have Gold :-D

Without the Oni the average is ~$55. Not bad.
You could buy two - one for the forum badge and another because... well, because! )

with more than 25 onos packages...
(they where sold out immediately... first time I looked at the page)

I would hope not. I don't even feel healthy paying 75$... 20$ to 40$ max, but over that and I'm paying more than I paid for the alpha black armor...
Also, congrats UWE! Favorite developer out there!
Yep, Give it a Month and well have fade level donation for 200$... They just need to spend an afternoon getting the albino fade put together...
You can, but you have to buy the new tier in full.
