The current average is about 59$ a person, that's pretty impressive even though that figure is probably skewed as hell.

Yeah that's pretty much all of us forum nerds I guess. I rarely see any badges here other than Shadow or Onos. :) Now we would need to get the regular people to buy the lower tiers en masse. I for one wouldn't mind if they sweetened the $10 and $20 tiers a bit somehow.

I think we're looking at a not-quite 50/50 split on Shadow-and-above donors versus Diamond-and-below. Considering the Onos badges were $333, Diamond-and-below is probably the larger group.

Without the Oni the average is ~$55. Not bad.

Again, I picked diamond cause it would be a rare thing on these forums :P

You could buy two - one for the forum badge and another because... well, because! :))

I picked gold because I wasn't going to use anything other than black armour, and the gold shoulder badge looks better on black than the shadow shoulder badge

And now imagine how much it would be,
with more than 25 onos packages...

(they where sold out immediately... first time I looked at the page)

Well, it's still less then one fifth of the target amount. And if it is not met, UWE will probably pocket the money and move on to produce smileys for Facebook apps, or something similar in profitability. So, what's the plan, where to get those remaining 450K? Personally, I am dry!

dont worry idleray, there will be plenty of other chances to buy something from UWE for hundreds of dollars

I just thought spending ~60€ on a game I got for really cheap was justified since most games cost even more, now I can live in peace :3

I would hope not. I don't even feel healthy paying 75$... 20$ to 40$ max, but over that and I'm paying more than I paid for the alpha black armor... :(

I would have loved to donate more, but I've already invested a lot of money into this game with the monthly server rental fee (even though depara carries most of it). Just can't blow all my money into video games =/.

Amazon blocked my payment for review for 24hours for some strange reasons. So I am still not a part of that total! Expect another 75 soon!

Also, congrats UWE! Favorite developer out there!

So, we've all been thinking, what happens when we reach goal? Do you get to attack Gaben and steal HL3 from his epic clutches?

Yep, Give it a Month and well have fade level donation for 200$... They just need to spend an afternoon getting the albino fade put together...

Will be buying my Shadow Package after work tonight. Pleasantly surprised by the community support. I love NS2 and UWE. =)

You can, but you have to buy the new tier in full.

I want to reiterate again that I could have easily donated ~$200 but the onos badges were sold out when I arrived and the next level up from shadow was $8000.

You are allowed to donate more than the badge itself is worth, but it has no additional rewards.
And if I understand how the purchases work, you could actually obtain multiple of the same badge, then hold on to the humble bundle links to the codes indefinitely. You could gift the links to friends and other players allowing them to have fancy skins/soundtracks/etc. like some kind of Shadow Oprah, or possibly trade them for other items on Steam.
Although this may be illegal and/or a violation of the Terms of Service. There is a "Purchase as a Gift" button. Silly me.

Agree but still, almost 3 years of fun, over a decade if you count NS1 in, it is worth the money! Especially if you look at other games that charge you 30 bucks and more just for a handfull of maps and that 3 times a year...

Too bad the onos was sold out in 10s!
    Atleast you have Gold :-D

I hope they reach their target. While I don't play anywhere near as much I will continue to support this awesome game :)
