Why do ExoSuits explode?

It would be much cooler in my opinion to just let an exosuit shutdown and crash to the ground. The explosion looks kind of weird...

Lets say something like this at 0:50 :youtu.be/vvZBNnOFsj4?t=45s

becasue then we'd have exo suits littered all over the game world, why do aliens disolve? Where do bits of buildings go? Why aren't we knee deep in alien wingwong?

Easy, let them disappear after a while like an Onos that dies.

Why does everything in Starcraft II explode?
Zerglings explode when they die. Even if they are shot by bullets or cut by Psi Blades.
Siege Tanks and Thors explode when zerglings and hydralisks bombard it with spikes and claws.
Why does anything explode in any video game?
Barrels of gasoline don't usually explode when shot with bullets.

Basically, the exo explodes when killed because its cool to look at. EXPLOSIONS YEAH

Except, because of the physics, it wouldn't fall and crash, it would bounce around and wiggle all about.

I'd like to see bodies linger for longer. You're going through a hallway and spot 3 dead companions. Probably an ambush, better find another route.

They explode because of nanites. I think it's way cooler than just falling over, and more intuitive too for a major event like an exo going down.

Nanites are the only explanation you'll ever need in the NS universe, for anything. (Except of course when the answer is bacteria)

    Maybe that's why:
Exo must run on something, it's a machine.
-> It needs fuel. I'd say, that the fuel is very compact and unstable. If it get's into contact with O_2 and receives a ignition spark it may burn up instantaneously (boom!)

So if the skulk is biting the exo, it's generating sparks like a bullet hitting a metal. If the armor is down, the fuel flows out. Both together: Boom!

Now you're asking why how that can be? The Exo has no exhaust! It's super modern fuel which will be converted into bullets and railgun projectiles inside the exo!

    bla! :)

actually check this out, he has a pretty good point,
at the end of the release trailer (2:36 on youtube) you can see the exo dies and goes exploding into the air with its mini guns still firing which looks awesome but maybe got axed for being to distracting?

Old exos never die, they just fade away

Add a random slow power down. Cockpit glass breaks and the marine inside is trapped, with a pistol as part of a last stand.

Ok everyone knows that if you don't have a giant machine (with made in America on the back) explode when it dies. Then you might as well not make a giant machine. Plus 'splosions are cool.
