I'll fix it for ya... The video Savant posted is a good example of babblers NS1 style, NS2 they might function a bit differently and sure will look different. Lemme see if I can find the concepts real quick...

Lol man looking back at that is pretty funny. Game sure has come a long way in the graphics department.

Ooh, I see potential for a microtransaction revenue stream! ;)
I don't know, I actually really like it. Also, remember that there isn't a texture included so this clearly isn't the final version. They could use something totally different, who knows.

it's mouth kind of looks like a... yea. Except with teeth. Wonder how small their hitboxes will be as well as their AI movement. Nothing like being swarmed by these guys while the rest of the alien team is on you.
It looks like a mouth you sick f***
If that is what the "..." that you've been seeing look like, then you are hanging out in the wrong places with the wrong people.

I'm hoping the babblers can use those spikes to attach to marines, and use the mouth to chew away once attached. It could be a fun mechanic, having to shoot the babblers off your friends, or use your axe to cut one off of yourself. It could potentially also be enough to make it so the gorge is less of a sitting duck. You'd have to choose whether or not to kill the gorge first or deal with the babbler, and if the gorge is smart he can run around his hydras so you'll keep taking damage from those. Combined with the blinding effect of gorge spit, it opens up the possibility of gorges finally being able to hold their own in a small defensive skirmish.
