Looks great. The lava in (Smelting Room?) looks awesome.
I wonder if you can "eject" from the Exo suit (since you could open the visor, at least in the trailer), and there's a big red button in the center of the suit's HUD.

Zycar: I think it's 2 versions of it. The actual one would be the right one if I'm not mistaken. A video like this takes a fair bit of time, and the game changes a lot every day for us play testers, so he may just have had to use some older footage as well :)
On another note guys, ###### just got real. This thing is just as badass as it looks!

There is no auto-aim at all on the exo, regardless what it looks like. I havn't actually noticed if the knifty rings are present in the game, or if it's cinematic eyecandy. But yeah, no auto-aim :)
Yeah, looks like the EXO got itself some nice gameplay touches.
- It can be flamed / Overheating - It can be goo'd - It has customizable Weaponry which suggests Onos Fistfights, but saw no Flamers or GL's on it. (no Flamers doh!) Also I expected some Autocannon-Blaster with low firerate and high damage but Miniguns aren't bad either i guess. - Maybe even customizable Armor/Health Loadouts/Self-Destruction mode - I wonder if Onos can stomp it - l0rks can't even pick its eyes out
All in all i expected a more gritty version, but it looks all shiny and modern so it's good. Maybe with time it 's scars will show.
I wonder if their are any other special abilities besides being a monster.
Hah that just goes to show. Seriously guys, you wont have time to notice these things when you are in it. You feel like God, shooting puny people down. In the voice of John St. John, YEAH BABY!

Seriously though, I didn't see this coming. Every time we talked about exosuits, I thought NS1 exosuits. Now its more of a mechwarrior kind of thing - much cooler. Will be interesting to see how it plays out in game.
Would be useful for coordinating attacks, as it gives you a lot more info about your teammates than a blob. It would be especially good if the parasited marines showed up like this too.
I was excited when I heard about the reveal of a gameplay feature we've been waiting for a very long time, and what I find? NOT A SINGLE WORD ABOUT BABBLERS! dammit!

There's also research called ExosuitLockdownTech in the current lua. It costs 20 tres and takes 60 seconds to research.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> That is not autoaim, you still need to center the middle ring on that smaller target indicator ring. It's to compensate the lack of FoV and still have some idea of what is going on when firing dual miniguns with smoke and stuff. But I assure you NS2 will NEVER have autoaim :)
Also to the EXO being set on fire, it was more of a cinematic thing that actually isn't possible in game. Although it is an interesting idea to have it accidentally overheat. But the trolling potential is a bit too big, I guess...
Perhaps it's also a cinematic thing (and an homage to the movie Aliens, I'm sure) but the Fade does an old-school stab attack at 1:43... have they ditched vortex? :)
I wonder if it's controlled intuitively: left weapon activated by left-click, right weapon activated by right-click.
From 2:25 - 2:29 I think we see an exo firing a rail gun - it's definitely a different effect than the minigun.
2:46 - it seems to take 2 seconds to cool down the chain gun from maximum overheat.
3:03 - I think grenade launcher shooting speed has increased some.
3:12 - 3:20 - there is no alien GUI on these interfaces. For cinematics?

I think that is just tracer fire. When I say 'just' what I mean is, really cool looking tracers. I'd love marines to have more noticeable tracer fire as well. You can easily see it off angle, but I wish it was brighter.

Is it me or does the onos seem a bit faster? In general the video looked like player movement was faster than we have been experiencing, or is this again just perceived from the cutting of the video?

No railgun in that video. Would be a fun weapon down the road though I think (personally!).
Yes, right click does the right weapon and left click does the left weapon.
And yes, lots of times GUIs and HUDs get turned off for trailers.
