    I had to check and see if it really said that, I found it that hard to believe. Honestly though, who tweeted that? I thought the developers knew better than to quote those rather hollow win-percentages, they represent very little information with regards to actual balance, yet the devs keep placing those percentages and "balance" in the same sentence for the umpteen time now. Please, just stop doing that. Did some troll get a hold of your twitter-account, that occasionally trolls us with these percentages?

    Are the physics improvements with the grenade launcher? Shooting 2 grenades down a hallway and a third grenade to fly off in a random direction and bounce into my face isn't great for marine morale.

    charlie had a post here regarding the 'favorable' win/loss rate already, but it had plenty of caveats (ack'ing parts of the game arent right yet). of course the goal is all parts of the game are fun & fair - Plus the win rate is even. so might have come from him (idk).

    but i agree, it smacks of mission accomplished.

    I think it has to do with a technical task which has been on the list for a long time:

    "physics objects inheret the velocity, and direction of the players" -> gravitational forces are probably also correctly implemented now??

    this would make for believable raggdolls, instead of random ragdolls. (Onos bouncing around anyone?)


    (just assumptions, but what else could you be excited about really?)

    One thing I can say for sure right now, is that the new Physics system increases performance a lot. Naturally, this opens a lot of doors, but I can't say what else UWE will present on short term.
