Mines and Rifles

<div class="IPBDescription">How many and accuracy?</div>I have been wondering how many mines I can place, and if I at some point will despawn my previously placed mines? Is there any functionality like the hydras, which removes previous mines when I place the new ones?

Does the assault rifle change accuracy if I empty an entire clip, compared to doing burst fire?

    From experience:
    * unlimited (until the server crashs)
    * no, it is super accurate

    Several threads/posts around these parts would disagree with you on that one. Something about server performance etc...

    nice trolling... ;)

    Yes you are right, the hitregistration feels off but nobody can put a finger on the cause.
    But in regards to recoil or other intentional accuracy modifiers for the LMG, my answer is right.

    The rifle is pretty spot on, accuracy wise. There is no recoil or increased spread when continuously firing.
    From ns2\lua\Weapons\Marine\Rifle.lua
    <!--c1--><div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><!--ec1-->// 4 degrees in NS1
    local kSpread = ClipWeapon.kCone3Degrees<!--c2--></div><!--ec2-->

    Hitreg, performance, etc are a different beast.

    Bad aim ?

    I did some videos at some point, trying to record some 10 bullets hits without kill. But found only bad aim.

    Someone did a Video shoing hit regestration before. Well a couple of people have, But they all showed the same. Its off, nothing to do with Aim. But having bad aim is always bad too

    Maybe it is. But as I see enough occasion where choke occurs, I'm very certain, that some bullets don't get through to the server. Especially with the fast frequency the LMG fires.

    I did a video some time ago showing some hitreg problems, and others also used the hitreg tool (although we didn't really knew what the color meant), but people always claim the hitreg is bad without testing it seriously. In all these case bad aim is always the most likely explanation, specially given the very tight hitboxes.

    I thought the hitreg issues were mostly from skulk animation issues

    This also on the hitreg tool :
