this is crazy and im so happy u posted it. but i really still am alittle confused. Does he just click the main wall and rotate by 10% till he hits 90% here? for a full turn? another thing i know i will run into issues with is.. the door at the end of the corridor.. Or is it my own downfall that i feel like at the end of every hall needs to be a door. i have been mapping in steam hammer for so long i have bad habbits. what about a tutorial for doors or something. i know i am needy but i am so addicted to this editor i want to be better.

This stuff might help you familiarize with the editor. You'll have to get used to making everything yourself out of faces and vertices instead of manipulating a prefab brush.

so i made a corridor but I cant get the face to fill in.. its just a bunch of lines... this actually happens to me a lot when I use the Line tool...

Make sure you only have 4 vertices and 4 lines for your face. Sometimes it might seem to be right, but there are actually multiple vertices <1 unit apart (yes, that can happen, unfortunately; they really need a tools programmer...). Also, if you want to make some sort of door into your corridor (which I assume from what you post), make sure the 3 lines you actually draw end exactly at the bottom of the corridor wall, which may be different from the floor (again, due to misalignment bugs or due to user errors). Otherwise, you also need to add the bottom line manually.

My first try. its quick lighting to show u some texturing. i would never light like that ingame.

Yep, it really took some time to get used to this style. But when mastered, it really speeds up the mesh creation. Much faster than old brush based approach. Its much closer to 3DSMax or Maya (actualy I've modified my key bindigs to be similar to Maya :-))
