re: the purple light: That's just an error in the scripting for that door. The switches are supposed to be red-lit when the door is closed, and blue-lit when it's open... but right now the lights are sync'ing wrong. :/

There's nothing like looking at the server list, seeing ns_europa_112 as a map, but it being on a passworded server, and I -still- can't figure out where it's available for download. If anywhere?
How do you get to be one of the lucky few who can play on Nano-Gridlock anyway?
1122 and 1124 were playtest builds. They were given out in EC's channel, the password was given there, and we all went in to test, then discussed the results afterwards in the channel.
The basic concensus was that the marine spawn was too close to the Fluid Hive, and could be there in seconds. Also, in 1122, it was found that you could seige Hydrotank Hive from the edge of Fluid Hive - not good.
Also, some performance issues were pointed out, which have been worked on. And a rather nasty RR bug... which I hope I've finally killed.

Add the water texture's name to the lights.rad file, along with a moderate green light value. Trust me, I've used this effect before and it makes a huge difference.

This morning I'm putting the final (I hope) touches on what should be the release candidate. I hope to get some playtesting done on Gridlock, and if all is well, release this puppy.

The water isn't transparent enough... if you want it opaque, maybe you could edit the texture and make the texture darker...? Its too bright IMO.
