Can't wait for the nintendo wii to come out. It's going to blow the other consoles away in my opinion. Just can't wait to get my hands on it and it's awesome controller. Gives a whole new dimension in gaming. And a whole pile of cool games coming out on wii. Be loads of fun to play a FPS on wii.

Anyways, stood (sat, lied down, whatever) outside Toys R Us for 8 hours to preorder one. 18 days until I pick mine up!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
Thats how i feel about wii, honestly, i keep hearing all this talk about how innovative it is, but innovation doesent always equal fun.
Innovation can also be downright annoying and cumbersome; which is what i think the wii's interface will be with most games.
Im sure most of the nintendo games will rock; but that wasnt enough to save the gamecube, and it wont be enough to save the wii.
Then again, it could pull a DS. Suck for the first year, rock for the second.
SSB Brawl looks offa chainz, though. Outside of the new SSB, I'm really looking forward to... Uh...
...?

I'll probably be grabbing a Wii at some point. More because of the price than anything else.

Agreed, it so cheap you might as well get it. Great for parties I bet.
Honestly, I can't wait for the Nintendo W. It's something totally different then all the other Consoles. Just the "Wii" name is something I don't like.

olo intendo pee lolo
1. lag between real time movement and on screen movement
2. the controllers are EXPENSIVE... $90 (AUS) or more (for the convenience of those not australian thats about $50 US.
3. the annoying name <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> lol
As for the name, you can name yours anything you like. For example, I didn't want to call my [male-specific body part] a [male-specific body part], so I have named it <i>GUNGNIR, WEAPON OF THE GODS</i>.
It is referred to by that exact monkier <i>every time</i>.
DS was the first gaming machine I bought in 10 years (mostly into PC games), and Wii is tempting me.

TP Intro screen <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y88M-AQztl0&mode=related&search=" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y88M-AQztl0...ted&search=</a>
There are a bunch of TP previews from the journalists who were allowed to play it Wednesday to Friday, good list <a href="http://gonintendo.com/?p=7879" target="_blank">here</a>. Basic synopsis: the Wii controller is very enjoyable, they did not get tired, and the game is huge.
November 19th cannot come soon enough.
I thought that's how you were supposed to play the specialists. I guess thats why I never got much above 1:1.
Four swords adventure for the Wii with internet and DS support.
I think the wii should be the smallest in terms of size for all the consoles. Like you could just slip it into your pocket or something and walk off.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You can almost do that. The size is roughly that of two DVDs stacked on top of each other.
It's <b>3</b> DVD <b>cases</b>. Which is pretty small considering any other game console.

Thanks for the correction <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
My first two games for the Wii will definitely be Zelda and Smash Bros.
Meh

Seems like Wii means gone with the days when you can own you friend playing with one hand <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" /> Although if you can use those two things with one hand and still manage to own your friend, that would be awesome although it looks like it will be an impossible feat.
Why spend $600+ on a console? With that much you could put together a half-decent PC.
