I'd think a good looking woman without a uniform/anything on would be sexier.

What man can resist a good pair of titties?

At least its an effective recruiting method. I lifeguard, and theres an army recruiter that comes to our pool to teach his daughter how to swim a few days a week. Hes always decked out in his army garb with a rank that says recruiter on it.

Anyway a few days ago there was a private party and all of us lifeguards were screwing around. One of us climbed the rope swing that we have. This rope goes up easily 30 feet. Then he jumped in the water. The recruiter was watching all of this and later on that night he came up to my lifeguard friend and told him that if he was ever interested in a job in the army to come and talk to him. Please keep in mind that this is Seattle, the liberals paradise. Anyway, my friend told us and we all promptly cracked up.

When the military instigates female officers to wear miniskirts again in the uniform, that is when I will join the army.

Actually maybe I should join the army, move up the ranks and inistigate such a move myself. Hmmmmm

Thank you for the depressing imagery so early in the morning.

I think we established woman in the Army are not allowed to participate in combat roles. Which I personally agree with.

If you don't have the common sense to realize why the pretty girl is at the booth and subsequently join the Army solely because of that, then yes you deserve to be a human windshield for an armored vehicle.

I think the main goal of this tactic is simply to get peoples attention, I’ve been told that allot of people really like the idea of joining the military once they understand all that it entails.

Godsmack's song "Awake" was featured as the theme song to the Navy commercials. And America's Army you should know, appealing to gamers...

Yeah I agree wholeheartedly with what I misquoted you on...
• reasareasa Join Date: 2002-11-10 Member: 8010Members, Constellation
I'm in an excellent mood so I shall choose to ignore your intentional misquotation.

Lunch went exceptionally well.

She brought a ton of information for my sister in the form of Army propaganda booklets for my sister which fortunately kept her quiet on the ride home.

Of course I felt like a self-conscious idiot walking up to the table she was sitting at with myridiculous looking limp , which I should thank you all for be so nice and volunteering helpful tips about as I was genuinely worried at the time.

But she is a nurse and was very sweet about it, she agrees with BulletHead, who I recently discovered is crazy masochist, that I hyperextend it by stretching and curling my toes at the same time after sleeping. Honestly you start hobbling around like a pirate on a wooden leg and everyone who sees you wants to know why.

She's sharp as a tack which made for some very nice conversation, she leans to the left on allot of political issues which surprised me.

Of course after one too many eye-rolls from my sister who had finished her lunch I decided we should leave. She offered me her phone number again and told me it would be perfectly alright to arrange another lunch/dinner if I wanted to.

Now I don't like to discuss personal matters online but I feel I can trust my NS forum brethren for at the very least some thought provoking comments.

Now I’m hardly an expert on woman, but I can’t help but think that she’s interested in me. I know that she’s single at the moment.

So I do feel a little bad being so enthusiastic about having my sister meet with her again because I also wanted to myself, but

So I do feel a little bad being so enthusiastic about having my sister meet with her again because I also wanted to myself, but hey she does seem to like the idea.

Which brings me to my final thought on the subject, do you think this recruiter is being so sweet and flirty because she thinks I have sway over my sister on the issue of her joining ROTC or because she’s actually interested?

I’m under the impression that ROTC recruiters don’t get paid like enlisted recruiters because I don’t see how they can get the credit for a student taking a college course.

Ok this is far to long, thoughts?

Possibly, Reasa.

Although the military is aiming lower and lower each day, watch some of the spanish recruiting ones, I'm pretty sure they have a form of hip-hop playing in the background (Although I find myself trying to translate the commercial rather then listen to it... sad, I know.) Not to mention they play the commercials on CARTOON NETWORK, DURING LITTLE KID HOURS. For hell's sake.

It's amazing how every time an attractive woman flirts with a man, they think that the woman is so dazzled by them that they've had to stop whatever they're doing to make sure that this incredible catch doesn't pass them by.
Think hard. She's working in a booth hoping to entice people to join the ROTC, entice being the operative word here.
I can't believe that this is still a valid tactic for getting people to join the army, that anyone would pretty much **** themselves out as part as a marketing campaign, which is what this is, make no mistake. If you want to, that's fine, but then don't complain when men in general treat you like an ornament.
