Ahahah, Narfy****waffle, Ive had it for almost 2 weeks now, I hit lance corporal in under 2 days, on kill score alone, (over a 2:1 global ratio, w00) my highest kill streak is 40, and god the Pancor Jackhammer rocks. Also, I am crying as Ive been stuck at my dads house for the past 4 days. <b>I must return to my Su-30.</b> Also, funnily enough, I havent gotten a bronze medal yet. Ive got tons of gold and a few silver, but I have yet to get a bronze... Anyway, I need to re-establish command of my Dorm room control point.  </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> 
I'm gonna crimp some internet cables tonight and hopefully have an internet connection on my own PC tonight, so bring your shizzle should you make it up this weekend. You must see the woofer, 'tis epic.

something I've been meaning to ask: where are vehicles' weakest spots?

as I generally understand it, the front is the strongest on tanks and I think the other vehicles too... but is the back or the sides weaker on tanks and APCs? I always assumed the back was the least armored, but when I hit a tank square in the side it seems like it does more damage...

I think that hitting in the treads does a lot of damage, that might explain it.

Just ranked up to Lance Corporal....
and of course you know,
it's time to unlock one of those guns

I rarely use AT/Spec Ops so I don't think I'll pick G3 or G36C
And I don't have the patience and aiming skill to bear the M95 <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' />
As the L85...I tried it in demo and to me it's like a M4 or AKS-74U...

now the 2 guns left is the Jackhammer and the Kord
I think a semi-auto SG would give some better protection in close combat...
but a new LMG also sounds good to me...(and some ppl said it can even punch thru some LAV! is it true?)

so...which one's better?
I need some advice/opinion on it, Thanks

well my father is support and he really likes pkm, but in some cases a auto shotgun is so satisfiyng (got AT myself)

I run Engy 24/7, so the choice was easy for me, I took the Jackhammer and havent looked back since. Im just still up in the air as to what to get when I hit 10K.

Well I just bought BF2 today and I installed then patched. Now I try to go online and play but every server pings about 300 and up, it also locks up in the Multiplayer menu screen. Wasn't the last patch supposed to fix this?

Huh, the patch fixed my menu problems, so there may be something else at work. As for server pings, that also sounds like it may be an issue of yours, as I routinely play on servers below 100, although, granted, it seems they are the vast minority in the server listing.

the patch creates HUGE memory leaks on servers, EA is trying to fix as soon as posible

EA recalled the patch today, telling everyone they should reinstall till they get a new one out. :/

I say hogwash. This patch has been terrific for me, and I haven't played on any servers that got bad performance-wise. Who cares if there are memory leaks if its still stable and fast. :P

Meh, It took me 5 reinstalles just to install this patch. I'm starting to really hate EA.

Actually the patch is fine client-side.
It's the servers that are suffering, usually from leaks of 500MB of memory because of running a BF2 server. Should explain why some servers seem to disappear for a while.

And no I don't have BF2. I forgot how I got wind of this info.

Blegh, next time if I <b>ever</b> get a chance to design a game, I'm throwing in a patch-rollback option <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

...Re-install Battlefield 2...Again...

This game is fun and all, but the preformance issues I have with it are amazingly horrible... For the first few minutes it lags like a civ, but after that, all the maps run supremely smoothly...

I'm not re-installing it again - Memory Leaks FTW <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' />

There's a couple 1.01 servers still up...
