30.mp3 is X-Wing I think. I mean its been used in a lot of games and the Star Wars movies a lot.
Hell, it's probably X-Wing, Tie Fighter, Rebel Assault, Shadows Of The Empire, and Yoda Stories just for starters. Why not pick the opening crawl music too while you're at it. :P
30.mp3 is from the original X-Wing and is the combat mission music (simulator?).
I'm really tempted to say 8.mp3 is from Simon the Sorceror, but unfortunately I can't tell since my memories of all 90s adventure games have blurred into one confused... blur. I still think it's an adventure game, though.

Ok. Last one uploaded. And it's actually still anyone's game at this late stage - there are 8 points worth of unguessed song, 10 counting this one. What I'll do is give you guys another day or so after this last song to try to guess the remaining ones, then I'll tell you what they were.

Ok, we're nearly done. I'll wait one more day so you can try to guess the remaining ones, then I'll tell you what they were. Then that's it, and whoever's got the most points wins the praise and adoration of the masses for being so l33t
Oh, what the hell. I'll just take a shot in the dark and guess Day of the Tentacle on #4. I know the song, I can hum the rest of it if you'd like, and I think it's from an adventure game when you enter a specific area (for some reason, I get the feeling you enter it from the right, but that might just be my imagination).

I could hum half the songs you posted, and often say what kind of game it was from, but placing them is another thing.
Another guess then: Beneath a Steel Sky. I haven't played it for so long that I can't remember what kind of music was in the game. I have a vague memory of the doctors office having some strange tune, though, and you did enter it from the right.
I'm fairly positive it's not Police/King's Quest. It could be Space Quest, probably IV or V ("Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers", whatever number that is), but I have my doubts about it.
Edit: Then again, I have my doubts about it being Beneath a Steel Sky as well.
Beneath a Steel Sky is correct. So is "Conquest". By the way, don't edit your posts if you want to change your answer (especially if you change it back!) because if you were right first, then someone else answers, then you edit, your edit will be timestamped later than theirs.
8.mp3 isn't from a space game.
I'm prepared to leave this running as long as people are still playing. I'll start giving hints now, though.
I demand the next thread be NES games.

Well, I can't run a NES game thread for the simple reason that I've never played a NES for more than half an hour, many years ago - I don't have one to record tracks off, I don't know any of the music, and I don't have any music. You're welcome to run one yourself, of course.

Ok, I guess we're done then. Thanks to everyone who played, I hope you all had fun. Congrats to Luukas for winning.
The tracks nobody guessed were: 20.mp3: Launch theme from Wing Commander Privateer 8.mp3: Theme from Loom (which I think is originally from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake). 22.mp3: Combat music from Strike Commander.
I might do another one with multiple songs from the same game, or including consoles, if enough people are interested.

4.mp3... just a random guess
King's Quest
Police Quest
Space Quest
Something with the word quest in it.
8.mp3 almost sounds like it's from another space game.
You should extend the remaining time until this weekend. I am determined to get them!
Edit: Then again, I have my doubts about it being Beneath a Steel Sky as well.
