The first two of the four jedi didn't even do anything, they just stood there and died. Fisto barely did anything as well.

Come on, it was horrible. They're not anywhere as powerful as Sidious or Windu, but... they're just standing there. Sure, one can be caught off guard, but I'd have expected to have watched a sweet 1vs3 fight for at least 30 seconds.

Actually, I have an explanation for this. Leia is force sensitive. She was growing inside her mother for 9 months during which Padme was under alot of emotional stress. It would of been quite easy for some mental imprints to be impressed in Leia's memories. What she thinks are memories are just things she felt when she was in Padme's womb. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    I have a better explanation:

Leia didn't know she was adopted.

yes Leia knew she was adopted because in Ep 6 Luke asks Leia if she remembered her <b>real</b> mother.

The only thing that bothered me wsa they mentioned midichlorians again, damn you Lucas you were one line away from greatness again!

Ture, they could have easily just said "influnce the force to create life" rather than "influnce the midichlorians to create life"

I guess Lucas likes his boys to be shipped to ghettos, while the ladies live in palaces...

It's by far the best of the new Star Wars movies, but it's still only "ok", and it lacks the adventurous quality that the originals (and the Indiana Jones movies) had.

Of course, it makes up for it in spades with the best NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! in any movie ever. I'd post the ytmnd that I made, but for some reason I don't think that would be a good idea.

    Also, did anyone else think

    <img src='http://img215.echo.cx/img215/9627/mgs25hn.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

Or is it just because that was the last thing I did before seeing Ep 3?

    <!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->jedi Service Announcement

For all of you Jedi out there: There is something you should know...

THE SITH CAN SHOOT flipping LIGHTNING FROM THEIR FINGERS

In all the, doubtless, millennia that Jedi have been hanging around with Sith, they have to, at some point, picked up on the fact that they can shoot lightning bolts. You see a Sith lord fanning his hands out and grinning, it may be time to pull out that lightsaber. Then again you could just stand their with the "OMG" eyes as you get pwned in the face by a bunch of blue lightning. You know; whatever works for you.

Just in case you haven't seen the movie. The Jedi almost all die, and Anakin turns into Darth Vader. Sorry to spoil it for you. It's actually pretty disappointing how quickly the Jedi die. While Obi-Wan and Yoda mow down an army of baddies, their compatriots quickly get gunned down by as few as 3 Clone Troopers on other worlds. As everyone familiar with the Star Wars universe knows, Jedi are totally weak against generic guys with blasters.

George Lucas made one hell of a video game with Revenge of the Sith. What do I mean by that? Just look at the scene with General Biscuitus or whoever, I forget now. The Gin & Tonic is kicking in. Poof, four lightsabers...do enough damage and one falls off. Do some more damage and another comes off. Repeat ad-nauseum. Oh crap, he lost all his lightsabers! Go for the vehicle! Now switch into crazy-chase mode. Now you run him down and you have to shoot him in the glowing center... I mean come on! Yeah, games are becoming more like movies and now, I guess, movies are becoming more like games.

The one overwhelming feeling I got from that movie was that there was no synergy on the set. The 'love' scenes were really detached. If the couple hadn't been playing a totally ****-up relationship where one guy had a robotic arm and was going to become the most evil guy the galaxy has seen for many years, it just wouldn't have worked at all, which it really didn't. I mean, I think I'd have an easier time convincing someone that I turned to the Dark Side because I loved my cat than how much Anakin appeared to love Padme. Look at the great re-uniting of Anakin and Padme. It was pretty much like:

Padme: "Oh I thought you were gone forever."
    Anakin: "No I'm back now."
    Padme: "Yay."
Anakin: "Lets do it right here."
    Padme: "Not here!"
Anakin: "I don't care if they know we are married." (WTH was this line about anyway)
    Padme: "I'm pregnant."
Anakin: "I am overwelmed by ambiguous emotions!"
    Padme: "What will we do."
Anakin: "Dunno. Lets not worry about it!"
    Padme: "Ok!"

Yeah, and the fall was pretty unbelievable. It went like this:

Anakin: "Wait...talking about the dark side, having a bunch of Sith artwork on your wall...you are evil, aren't you!"
Darth Sid: "Ya but some guy I killed knew how to make people live forever."
    Anakin: "WTH?"
Darth Sid: "Your wife ****, you think she'll die."
    Anakin: "But you are evil!"
Darth Sid: "Do you want **** or not?"
Anakin: "Oh, I'm so torn, you say you can help me save Padme."
    Darth Sid: "Dude, dark-side."
Anakin: "No! I turn you in!"
    Darth Sid: "K"

    Anakin: "He's evil"
    Mace: "Seriously?!"
    Anakin: "Ya"
Mace: "K we're going after him."
    Anakin: "I'm coming with."
    Mace: "No you stay put."
    Anakin: "WTH!?"
Mace: "Man we should have **** double-barreled lightsabers...."

Mace: "Gonna pwn you old guy."
    Darth Sid: "lol...raaaarr"
Mace: "WTH, you guys suck as Jedi. I don't even know why I bothered to bring you guys."

Anakin: "Dude, I am so torn and angsty. I'll just sit by myself."

Darth Sid: "Ha ha I have lightning!"
    Mace: "!!1!!"

    Anakin: "Fuk this I'm going!"

Darth Sid: "Nooo you can reflect it back!"
Mace: "Pwned! Anakin, WTH are you doing here."
Darth Sid: "Omg he is the bad guy kill him!!"
Mace: "He's got white hair, red and yellow eyes, and he's shooting flipping lightning out of his fingers...he is, in fact, the bad guy. I'm gonna pwn him."
Anakin: "I'm so confused. Don't pwn him."
Mace: "...with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers..."
    Anakin: "OMG no!"
    Mace: "OMGWTH!? Aaaaaaa."
Darth Sid: "K, now you are evil."
    Anakin: "K."
Darth Sid: "Go kill a bunch of kids. Then you can go save your wife."
    Anakin: "K."

I mean, seriously. Maybe, just maybe, if we would have seen or felt anything between Anakin and Padme then him going from, "You are evil! I turn you in!" to, "Ha ha, die little kiddies!" may have been a bit easier to swallow. Padme wasn't done well, and I know she can act better than that, but I think it goes back to the whole 'no synergy' thing. It's like trying to spread excitement in a room full of people who's dogs just got hit by a car. It's just not that easy. Senator Organa I thought did well, and I also think Obi-Wan was done well. I liked the way that the final fight was acted by him. He was obviously troubled but very Jedi, only breaking into emotion at the end and still it was appropriate. I really thought that he should have, like, killed Anakin or something. I mean, the guy you love as a brother is on fire, with no limbs...you'd put a saber into him out of mercy. Or at least like, used the force to push him into the lava or something. Then again, though, it wasn't totally unbelievable that he didn't. I mean it was probably all he could do to not save him...and he figured he was dead anyway. He had no legs, no (real) arms...AND HE WAS ON FIRE! I mean come on...ON FIRE! How exactly does one live though having all your limbs cut off and having 100% of your remaining body set on fire by lava. I guess I really can't blame Obi-Wan for leaving him for dead.

I gotta take the Jetta in for an oil change tomorrow morning at 8am, and my glass is out of Gin & Tonic.

So true, some parts were so cheesy...

-Mace has his lightsaber on Palpatine for a few seconds (didn't strike him down)
-Anakin arrives and all that lightning face changing stuff happens.
-The exact same dialogue as against Dooku at the beginning (he has to be trialed/he's too powerful to be trialed)
-Anakin cuts the arm off of Windu.
    -"zOMG What have I done?"
-Anakin becomes pure evil and swears allegiance to Sidious.

Am I the only one that thought there should have been the infamous Vader theme music as he walked up to the Emporer in one of the final scenes? That was the biggest disappointment for me.
