    Besides the aliens, lemmie look at the Marines...

    the HMG power should be toned down just a HAIR.

    the shotgun is fine as it is... perfect anti-skulk weapon and it costs a lot, so theres the trade off.

    The marines minimap should be fixed, and i hear its going to be.

    The mg turrets are good too... i love the powerdown bit when you blow away their factory. Just fix the bug where the commander can recyc them in order to have them functioning like in 1.00

    Next: the commander should have a player list and corresponding hotkeys or something. make it hellalots easier <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I also think the price of medpacks should be bumped up to three res/units for reasons being that the comm can't spam them when marines are in a firefight. Perhaps a limit of how fast he can spawn them?

    Siege is fine. i dont know what all the griping is about. If the marines can spend the rez to get one up and running in the amount of time it takes to build it, the aliens deserve to get blasted.

    Those are the realistic suggestions... now here comes the crazy ones:

    The Gorge should be able to eat its own buildings minus hives and rez towers.

    The Lerk has talons for a reason. Turn it into a carryall for ferrying skulks and gorge around.

    The marines should have a volumetric flamethrower, it would be awesome to see for venting out skulks and so on, but the aliens should have an efficient counterweapon of some kind...

    General: 1)Fix being stuck for really dumb reasons
    2)More communication options(a bit limited)

    Aliens: 1)Easier way for skulks to kill someone by biting.Most of the time i can't see where i'm goin when i bite.(blocked by BIG sharp teeth)
    2)Fix such that onos don't look weird when they jump over things.
    3) instant Xenocide(click and BOOOM!)
    4) Is leap really very useful?

    Marines: 1) Can have armour AND jetpack?
    2) Commander view more details.
    3) Increase costs of advanced weapons(hey onos need 70 resource just to evolve)


    AND OH PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE LAG!!!

    We are more discussing the habit of Onos getting stuck in walls... deffensive chmabers and other objects that makes it impossible to move...

    and thats pretty expensive to type kill and loose an 70 points worth of ono because you get stuck and cant possibly move in any directions

    it is THE only way to move with skulks!

    I just hope they fix the quickweaponswitch->suicide "feature" from the game.

    so, has anyone else expeirenced this commander bug.

    u can't upgrade factorys or things sometimes, when there is lots of turrets.

    when u try to click on the building it selects turret instead.


    I was also thinking, is it possible for the commander to have a hud kind of thing.

    Dunno if im asking for to omuch, like have like a starcraft- like thing.

    Rofl.

    The only thing that needs fixing are the bugs, the commander interface (so that people will actualy enjoy being commander on pubs), and the marine minimap.

    The actual game mechanics are very good, people are just trying to fit the square (CS tactics) into the circle hole (NS tactics).

    No, but you have hive site that shows where anything is being attacked, so if your team is smart they will independently go to help.

    NO. Why not just strap shotgun and HMG and GL together with duct tape! Have a super-gun! If you want jetpack, then accept the consequence of being lightly armored. If you want heavy armor then acccept the consequence of being slow. We don't need magical flying fairy super-action-hero-marines.

    I have snacked on so many dumb marines by just cloaking in a corner with skulk it is not funny. I don't see what the problem is here. Of course cloaking and then trying to go hand-to-hand with a full HA marine is not a brilliant idea.

    Here's what we should do:

    * report bugs
    * wait for new patch to see what Flayra does and stop second guessing everything
    * see how the game plays in next patch before suggestion sweeping changes

    I do have to say with the new patch killing the turret factories to kill a base is too easy. I would like to suggest that either that once a turret factory is killed that only 3 turrets are allowed to stay on and the turrets fire but at half damage and/or speed.

    Also I read about someone else suggested that having some kind of block against advanced turrets when you only have one hive so that aliens have a chance to come back. A tracer would be nice too.

    I know this would never happen, but when a turret factor spawns have the first turret be half price. I think with the cost increase of the Nade launcher you can almost put the rounds up to 5 or 6 maybe again.

    The gorges number four attack, those guys always get stuck on walls when trying to go for a marine. You almost have to be straight on to get them to work, which is not good for our vulnerable gorge.

    Maybe have a portable med pack that can be in the place of the pistol, like the wielder that can only be used on other people and is either very slow at healing and makes a lot of noise or is a one time deal of like 25-50 health.

    Besides the lag, getting stuck in walls, buildings sinking, and not being able to attack marines while they're moving threw a vent.
