Also AFAIK the marines have reloading animations in 1st person, are you talking 3rd person? I agree that 3rd person animations/mussle flash would be nice.
jumping over chambers gets you stuck, people dropping stuff on you gets you stuck, redemption sometimes gets you stuck, mass lag sometimes gets you stuck, um.. think that's it.
My imediate request would be the option to boot players, either by a team or a commander. I was just in a server with some player who decided to leave his name at just nsplayer and destroy everything at the marine base. I couldn't figure out why it took 3 minutes for me to spawn when no one else was dead. Till I did spawn and saw this guy destroying everything in his path while the rest of the team was screaming at him to knocok it off and the aliens were relentlessly assualting the base. Next map...he joins the marines again and in about 4 minutes when I took the command position because the current commander didn't want to do it any more and the guy goes right back at it.
Either we need to turn off FF for marines targeting thier own buildings...or we need a way to boot players like that. I'm really annoyed because I left the server over this and it was the first one I could find with good ping and high players.

But that's how you kill skulks, backpedaling in circles and shooting holes in the floor. Not to mention, if skulks were able to bite each other on accident, it would probably be their leading cause of death. Skulk/marine melees are too fast and confusing for players to have to worry about friendly fire.
As for the patch, I'm with Misfire. The marine minimap sucks. Everytime you look at it you have to figure out which way you're facing compared to the map and then try to figure out just which of the hallways you're in etc. A fancy map would be great, especially since it takes so long to memorize these twisty-turny levels. At the very least, a little arrow should show where you are and which way you're facing. Even for the aliens, some sort of map would be handy. Sure you can see where your friends are, but getting to them can be a little tough, esp when trying to use the ducts.
Kharaa: - alot stuck-bug fixes - blink tweaking - Ohno charge fix. (it doesnt work against structures) - some way to remove kharaa-buildings (something like recycling) - Webs should also be removable. - gorge-limit. 4 kharaa-players, 1 gorge. 8 kharaa-players, 2-3 gorges. - Maybe ohno-limit too (it would make it easier for marines) - Fade melee attack damage increase/ make it faster. Its still too hard to take down lonely HAHMG-marine even if you manage to surprise him. - hotkey for blink and leap because scripts are not allowed.
Marines: - shotgun: more damage, more spread, less range. - Grenadelauncher: clip-size. It now is 4/30 but it should be like 4/32, 4/28, 4/36.. - Some buildings doesnt show health. fixfix. - Weapons should have some recoil. - Accuracy should change with your movementspeed. Crouched = 100%, stand = 90%, crouchmove = 80%, walk = 70%, run = 50%. LMG should be more accurate than HMG etc. - Stamina, those hopping HAHMG marines are.. eh.. funny. - Welder-kill appears like "kharaa suicide", fixfix

My only wish and desire for NS is to remove the collision detection for buildings and players of the same team. I think it would solve many a problem, and not require any changes to any maps.
Make skulks models turn so their feet are always connected to the surface(if possible)
Change the bite sound(I dont think its that good), and add some more. Getting the exact same sound every time is not so realistic. Also have different sounds for biting flesh and biting metal.
When marines get bitten, let the screen go red like in dod so the bites become a more shocking unpleasant experience.

theres also some bugs in commander mode that should be fixed. Sometimes i build turrets around factory, but then i can't click on the factory itself. when i try to it just displays the circle around a specific turret. If i recycle the turret , then it works again.
Skuls should have some kind of attacking animation in 3rd person..

i think atm its pretty biast how the aliens can have many builders making heaps of defence towers and offence towers and they dont even need to be built unlike the marines. they just need to be left for a about 30 seconds. also the aliens resourses, once they have enough resource towers almost as soon as you build something it flicks back up to max again. also i think marines should have a health regenerative post, its annoying relying on the commander to resupply you, especially if u are the commander and you have many patrols to look after <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Erm, not sure whether other people have seen this, but I noticed some buildings go throught the floor, once I even saw a CC jutting out from the floor!
i wouldn't tweak accuracy/recoil of marine weapons, if you made it so marine weapons could get less accurate the aliens would have a feild day, no more moving marines? sounds like lunch to me.
Many of the things you mentioned will be added or fixed in a future patch. The marine minimap just didn't get done in time, but will eventually have as much information as the commander minimap.
How about if the <!--emo&::siege::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/siege.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='siege.gif'><!--endemo--> left a trail when it attacked so I knew what general direction to wander in to find it, instead of wandering around somewhat randomly.
Is it ever going to be put in where the actual camera for the Skulk will rotate with the wall? or is that just too disorientating?
But what i do think should be fixed/added is a Gorge ability to eat its own buildings and gain back some of the resources from it in some way, and that the world view (3rd person) model of the skulk should rotate with the surface it stands on.
I doubt the 1st person POV for skulk will change, and I'm pretty certain a dev said that. 3rd person model change was ''for a future release''
I like the trail idea for siege, I have had several annoying experiences trying to hunt them down before they took a hive down. I have seen several graphical issues with NS (pop-up menu not dissapearing from screen properly, and marine buildings dissapearing). I have a GeForce4 Ti 4200, but theres no OpenGl drivers for it that I know of, and I'm running beta of Nvidia drivers, so thats probably the problem. Is there anyway of stopping people gaining extra speed using jetpacks against a flat roof? I'm pretty sure that wasn't the intention behind them. I'll edit if I think of anything else

If Youre building a structure as an alien you still loose the cash when the building cant be placed because of space restrictions (sp?)
