The motion blur may be intentional, but it also disguises the fact that the PS2 can't handle that speed without some slowdown. It looks nice, but it has a tech purpose as well as an aesthetic one.

Um...blurring lines takes more processor power than sharp ones Gadz.

...btw: The MB in SA rocks. The camera shakes at OMGh4x high speeds.

Exactly: the motion blur, just like the new weather effects, are simply extra things the PS2 has to process. It's not a 'tech thing' at all.

By the way I'm finally out of Los Santos, there is just so much to do in this game that I didnt even mention in the review its not even funny. You even (Spoiler.. sorta. Very small)

<span style='font-size:6pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:gray'>Run into the original character from the first GTA!</span></span>

I maybe will rewrite the review to include some of the new stuff. Do you think its ok how it is now?

By "The first GTA" you mean "GTA3, which was actually the 4th thing with GTA on it, after the original GTA, GTA:London and GTA2."

I prefer to do my own Escape From Los Santos minigame, where I try to get to the top of mount chiliad without stopping from the Johnson House... BEFORE unlocking it.

Yeah, fun trying to outwit 4 star coppers and their whirlybat.

Ha.ze, you should get a cookie by Rockstar because I just purchased it because of your review <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

One question, though: How long until you get to the chainsaw?

In Los Santos, the chain saw is by the train station's train tracks, in an area with a bunch of debre and really dumpy looking, kind of a landfill, only small. I'll post a picture when I get home, cant do too much on the schools computers, I'm afraid.

I just bought the Air Field.. and oh my god... I'm so happy.

    A Garage.
    A Save Point.
Planes that spawn just for you.
A PCJ600 that spawns just for you.
A FREAKING PERSONAL HANGER!!! You can now store and save those planes if you want to <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

My only gripe is that it's so close to a military base that you'll sometimes accedently fly over it and get 5 stars... then be promptly blown out of the air by a fighter.

I stole a Turismo from Elvis in Las Venturas outside of the casino.. I felt kinda sad afterwords.

How could you gripe about that. All the better its located close, now you can fly over on purpose and dog fight. ;p Steal a military plane. Ultimate challange.

    EDIT:: Make sure you've got plenty of sachels... <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

As a christian, I must say I find the love of violence and violent video games a very worrying trend in todays society. Why can't we all learn to love one another by playing unifying games such as <a href='http://www.guidinglightvideo.com/shop/bonuspack.html' target='_blank'>Charlie Church Mouse Bible Adventures!</a>

Ha.ze, the name is Grand Theft Auto, not teft. Besides that its a nice review... If I just had a PS2. Well I guess I'll wait until the PC version comes out.

Ps: Does anyone else besides me think that Tommy vercetti and the... 'gta3 guy' look bit the same?

Easier said than done! I've only managed all gold in the Bike School.

Right now, I'm doing missions in Las Venturas for quite a few GTA3 characters; everything is fitting together nicely. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

It's not nearly as hard as the bike school one, the only one I had trouble with is the circle airstrip and land one, and with that just make sure you bank smoothly.

For the parachuting, practice makes perfect.

Oh, and did I mention all golds gets you the hunter?

I have all golds in driving school except for the '90', where you have to drive up and powerslide in between 2 cars... I got a freakin 99% on it once, I was so ****. I just want to unlock the hotrod car <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
