My input without reading anything posted in this entire thread.
Aliens are not weaker, but marines are getting better and people are still refusing to learn to bhop, rendering them stupidly easy to shoot. A non-bhopping skulk may as well be standing still.

And you know, trying to go head to head against a 20:1 player that can take out 4 skulks by himself is really daunting.
Now, these people are in the extreme minority, but there are plenty of marines who can shoot above 2:1, as well.
Then you get down to the skulks, even the best bunny hopper can't hope to be on equal footing with the best marine.
And that's the problem. I can even ambush, but the ridiculous power of the LMG against skulks still prevails, they can kill faster than I can, assuming they get the bullets in place on time.

lol, so since the crosshair is now aligned correctly it makes it stronger? No. Thats like saying if parasite crosshair thing wasnt aligned right, then they aligned it correctly, its somehow stronger? It just makes it proper, not stronger .
whatever happened to regeneration overflowing into armor once hp was filled up? i'm 99% sure that i read that it was suposed to be in b5 and i'm 99% sure it is NOT in b5... that alone is something that would help aliens tremendously.
I believe Zunni or another dev stated that they had intended to add the regen overflow into b5, but after several rounds of testing before the release, they had deemed it to be rather overpowering. Which could be true because aliens would be invincible if they were defending a hive. The hive heals for quite a lot, if you add regen or cara into the mix, the damage that aliens take would be minimal, add meta for a fade, he can almost have constant health unless like 3 HMG marines with aimbot constantly shoot the fade.
actually, aliens are MUCH better than rines when they move in packs. Since most rines think that if a skulk kills 1 rine, the next rine will kill it, so they'll relax, but then gets killed becouse the skulk killed the 5 rines standing infront of you.
also xenocide spamming seems to be popular these days...
well, in that situation the marines are dumb and the aliens are smart, and you cant balance that.
and i dont know about you but unless i have good confidence in my teammates around me (not common in pubs) i never think "oh the other guy will kill the skulk" instead i go and kill it. as a general note i think the worst time to "relax" is when a skulk has killed your teammate and is proceeding to the next one, possibly yourself.
Aliens with only one hive are too weak in late game, thus no chance of comeback. This is because everything is tied to the number of hives, leading to very unflexible system.
1 marine >> Any chamber, thus aliens have no static defence and this allows marine comebacks, especially if you think the next point too.
Marine tech == Permanent >> Alien tech == fluid like water in a toilet.
The smaller the game, the less starting res they get, thus advanced life-forms come up later and/or everything depends of a few players.
The bigger the game, the bigger team benefits marines get (Ranged >> Melee).
Map full of marine RTs + easily replaced by any marine = the win. If aliens try to chew them down (...tedious...), it leaves the team short of 1-3 players.
If there is a free RT, Someone has to go gorge. Too bad that Someone just took a break and returns five minutes before HA-train shreds the first and last hive.
