The blue thing is my crosshair overdrawn with blue lines so it's easier to see (the one I actually use is hard to see in the screenshot) and the green blood sprites overdrawn in bright green. Going back htrough the combat demos, it looks like most of the near-kills would place most of that pentagon of pellets above the skulk, so that's consistent. And the pattern was indeed 100% consistent over time. I compared five screens taken from shots made without moving, and all the blood spatters matched up.
So, there you have it. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> Yep. Whenever you fire against an alien structure, you'll notice the same blood pattern every round. what it should be is random like a shotgun. Some people will have or are gonner have crosshairs that basicly have the spread on which will bring an unfair advantage to them (aka cheating).

To be honest, if you're aiming individual pellets, you have ISSUES. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

But seriously, there's nothing wrong with useing a custom crosshair. It's cheating to design your own crosshair? Where do you people come up with this stuff?
