    I hate Christmas. I hate christ, I hate the commercialism, I hate the fact that we have to get our family and relatives together and pretend we don't hate each other. What a goddamn waste of time and holidays.

    Also I was forced to buy a present for my brother and parents [individually] and that's more money than I can afford to lose.

    I hate this Christmas, not Christmas(I love Christmas).

    My parents are coming up after my first time on my own. My dad is gonna be an ######. My mom is gonna be her usual idiotic self. Both are going to do their best to make me feel as if I can't live without them, and we'll all end up saying things we wish we could take back(but truly feel, even if we have no reason to).

    On top of that, I have no Christmas tree this year.

    My brother got clipped by a car on Wednesday while he was riding his bike into work. Supposedly the car was going 40 on the police report. So why is it a good christmas for him? The extent of his injuries basically just looks like he took a punch or two to the face. No scrapes, no broken bones, just a bit of swelling and some bruises.

    the fixation that ppl have with presents.

    its a buyfest for all.
    commertialized ftl.
    christmas used to be great.

    now its just a farse with panicing ppl on the streets shopping for prezzies x days before christmas because they "forgot"
    What happened to giving someone a hug or a good meal or a good time for christmas?!

    its like,must spend countless of dollars/pounds on this person otherwise i will feel guilty because everyone else is buying presents.
    i am already poor,(student)
    christmas does not make me feel any better(financially)
