What's your worst fear?
<div class="IPBDescription">Needles, darkness, heights, death, flying...</div>I've got some weird fear of heights - rock climbing is pretty tough for me. I still do it, but whenever I look down I desperately cling to the rock I'm on and say thirty different prayers to sixteen different gods, two made up for just this occasion.
Also. Things that make me cringe have gotta be any sort of cut what so ever. Bullet wounds dont apply, I can deal with those, but just imagining someone running a sword across the back of anyone's hand gives me the heeby jeebies.
Whats your fears/cringe worthy ... stuffs?

I don't like knives in general actually because once I get my hands on one I awats start thinking about horrible things.
I think it's because jumping spiders move and act with personality. They seem more like they have the intelligence and traits of animals we have as housepets (cats, dogs, etc).
See, when the horrible non-jumping spiders move it's either that slow, creepy crawl or the weird 'stuttering' one where they move a short distance really fast then stop like they're in some kind of flickering movie or marilyn manson video. They also have a sort of dark alien intelligence that glints in their beady lil eyes when they're watching you.
Jumping spiders just move like a normal creature. On top of that they're funny to watch. One was peeping on me in the bathroom and I jumped up at it giving it a fright. It leapt backwards with it's legs wide in a comical gesture of shock then when I went back to brushing my teeth it slowly edged forward tilting it's lil head curiously. cute :3

OH GOD LOOK THERES ONE RIGHT THERE
Spiders, and those insane GIGANTIC millipedes that sometimes pop up in this apartment. I usually have to spend about 5 minutes working myself up enough to squish those buggers.

For a person who appears to enjoy System Shock 2 enough to have that awesome image as your avatar, I find your fear of spiders surprising <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
Wasps aren't so scary once you realise you can backhand them without getting stung. Great thing about wasps is they'll often fly in a straight line which makes for easy tennis if you have a swatter around <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Still isn't fun when you know you're allergic to em though.
Oddly enough, I don't fear them but if I hear a buzzing sound (even caused by a distant chainsaw) I freak. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":0" border="0" alt="wow.gif" />
I also remember on my Army exercises last year during my college course I froze several times going up and over a 50 foot climbing frame. Damn was it funny watching me poo my pants <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Believe it or not, arachniphobia was common enough in SS2 players that LG released a patch to remove all the spiders. For some players, this was the only way they could bring themselves to finish the game.
Anyway, worst fear? That I might live forever. Seriously. I never thought about it much until I read a short story called "You will never die" that, as far fetched as it was, still haunts me to this day.
I'll die in a skydiving "accident" before I turn 60.

haha, touché. Those spiders do freak me out a little bit, but the presence of a very large wrench helps me overcome my fear. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
Also, Mantrid's comments about telephone off-the-hook signals reminded me of my immense dislike of the sort of buzzer one hears from alarm clocks. Even if I hear one of those in a movie or something, it makes my skin crawl.
Spiders aren't so bad any more, I've gotten very good at catching them under a glass and tossing them out the window. I'd second the 'getting old' comment from above though as a possible second. I'd much more happily sail off the edge of a cliff in my car, doing something I love, than rot away in some bed, too weak to even stand and make it to the restroom unassisted.
If that's the same feeling I experience, then it's less of a fear and more of a mixed loathing and anguish. You know, the kind of thing you feel when you wake up to an alarm before sunrise.
As for me, it's anything around my eyes. I'm not squeamish about being stabbed, sliced, or shot (though this may be because I've never actually experienced it), but so much as bring a pencil too close to my eyes and I take off down the street.
Otherwise , piercings make me cringe - looking like they could tear flesh apart horribly , simply by being pulled.

Yea that never gets old. Custom titles are for achievements not annoyances.
Anyway, my fears are all pretty strange. I sometimes wake up feeling utterly terrified and yet have no idea why. I've not found my phobia yet. I think I might have phobophobia <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/nerd-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::nerdy::" border="0" alt="nerd-fix.gif" />

A fear of fear? OR a fear of phobias?
Had the most scary experience once when I went to the toilet (shed with a hole in the ground) in Uganda (of all places) Thought I could hear some fluttering/scurrying. Then I realised there was a group of flying ###### cockroaches above me :[
I'm generally better with spiders as long as they don't touch me. Doing the whole glass procedure is too risky imo so its normally squish-time with some paper or shoe time if its a bigger one. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />
Death. painful and lonely imho..
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I never did understand that. After 70 years of obnoxious existence, death is a well-needed ending. The only thing to worry about is an afterlife. If there's an afterlife, well, you're screwed. Kinda ruins the whole reason of looking forward to death.
I'm also somewhat afraid of spiders... not so much I seize up, but I'm afraid of the little ones that climb on your walls and come down on your head and stuff. I love big buggers like tarantulas, though.
Oh! I recently saw one of those massive millipeeds in my house. I nearly crapped my pants, because I squashed it with (something, that I dont remember) and it got cut in half. One half stayed and twitched while the other started to run away. T-T (shudder!)
