what I like about the factory is that it doesn't take all that much to make, and has its own shield. When I have a solid enough connection to play sometime, I'm definately going to create a small fleet of them and drive them within range of the enemy base while it creates additional support units to defend them. Those things could level a base in no time.

Supreme commander, is not revolutionary. In the same way WoW is not. They are both the pinacle of their generation, without introducing so much innovation as to create a new genre or generation. Supreme commander takes everything every RTS to date -should have had- and puts it in. Calculated trajectories of unit fire/etc. rather than a % hit/miss or such, Abilitiy to zoom out to a true strategic view and control the entire map's worth of units in seconds, Droship ferrying abilities, a rediculously amazing que system, multiple types of movement and fire modes (move, attack move, move in formation, stop at contact, any combination of these.) Also, GO READ THE FAQ. There is FAR MORE than you will intuitively guess in this game as far as controls and such go. That said, someone IM me for a challenge sometime. It was in original game that was miles ahead for its time but it got forgot so in theory all other rts took from that <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" />
