Quite impressive on a technical level, yet lacks any showmanship. I still prefer crazy asian dude for it's production values + absurdity.
Also that video makes me sad because I'll probably never even pass Jordan, let alone 4 or 5 star it. :(

Still ending up butt-hurt by Hard. Managed to belly-crawl through the first two songs, but I haven't gotten hammer-ons and liftoffs fast enough to even finish Shout. Hell, went back and put in the original GH and finished a few second-venue songs on Hard while drunk, then one on Expert.
No question in my mind, GH2 has a HUGE gap in difficulty between Normal and Hard... one that isn't as pronounced in GH1. Hard in GH2 feels more like Expert (or worse) in GH1. I can finish every song in Medium with at least three stars, and have gold-5 on a few of them.... most either 4 or 5 stars on the first try.
Kinda depressing. Guess I'll have to go back to GH1 to fill in the 'gap' in training.
I just got GH2 this weekend, picked it up along side Twilight Princess (So don't expect me to be experting anything any time soon <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />) Anyways, GH2 is proving to be awesome. The whole encore thing caught me off guard... well, that and when my drummer exploded after finishing the encore. That was cool. anyways, <a href="http://louhi.kempele.fi/~skyostil/uv/fretsonfire/" target="_blank">Frets on Fire</a> got a new GH2 compatible update on Friday, might be something worth looking into if you're a dork like me and insist on being able to rip the songs from the disk and listen to them on your music player of choice.
fun game but I semi-hate it out of jealousy of my gf who kicks my ###### at it. she plays actual guitar so she has the advantage on me. I believe she has every song 5-starred in hard mode and is working on expert. at least I can back her up on bass in co-op mode <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

Or learn to sing. That's easy. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I totally should learn the bass. I have one even, but always got discouraged too quickly to get anywhere with it. as for singing, that's probably not going to happen. I'm 26 and my voice still cracks so I don't exactly have an angelic singing voice.
