<div class="IPBDescription">Just saw something really weird</div> Okay, I'll give you a bit of a story first. I wrote all of this on the way home, while it was still fresh in my mind, so it's a fairly detailed account of everything that happened.
I was out walking in a field near my house... I occasionally go for walks at night, barefoot. It's really nice. I carry around a hydration pack with two litres of water, a notebook and pen, a book, my camera, my MP3 player, a cellphone, a flashlight and some batteries. I usually carry these because I like to take notes or pictures sometimes, and sometimes I sit by the water and read.
Anyway, I was walking along the edge of this small field and I saw something moving across it. It was odd, I could barely see the movement from far away. As I moved closer, I noticed that it was a girl and two dogs... And I also noticed that I could see right through them! The two dogs were identical, they were small and white. They were running around the field, but never got too far away from the girl.
I called out to her, but she didn't even acknowledge my presence. The dogs ignored me, too. So I started to move closer. I was completely freaked out at this point, but I tried to reach out and touch her shoulder. As my hand drew close to her, I could feel heat. It got hotter and hotter as my hand got closer, until it was finally too hot for me to bear and I had to pull my hand back. At this point, she just turned to look at me for a few seconds before turning back to her dogs. She didn't even say anything, or show any strong emotion on her face.
I backed up and grabbed for my camera. I thought it was worth a shot, so I turned it on and raised it to take a picture. I was amazed when I saw that they were captured perfectly, on the LCD screen! I was worried that maybe I was hallucinating or something. You can see the photo <b><a href='http://www.brainferrets.com/other/000_8635.jpg' target='_blank'>here</a></b>.
Anyway, she looked back at me one more time when the camera snapped and then waved for her dogs. They came to stand at either side of her, and she started to walk away from the field. I tried to follow them, but it seemed like they were moving way too fast and I soon lost them...
I know that I'm going to get calls of "Photoshop h4x" on this, but I'm not expecting most of you to believe me. I'm actually posting this to see if anyone else has had a similar experience?
Here are some of the things that I can't understand:
The shadows. They were casting shadows, but my body couldn't distort it. It continued along the ground as if I wasn't even there. It also felt noticably cooler in the shadow.
They made absolutely no noise. Absolute silence.

This is the sort of story and picture I'd expect from BadKarma <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
If it's real, then it's quite cool and I congratulate you for getting that snapshot. Print it with a printer & paper that won't let it wear in just a few years and put it in your album.
If it's fake, well...congratulations for joining one of the thousands of people who've tried to make an internet hoax <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Edit:
You know I was wondering something why is it that if ghosts existed that they are translucent and are clothed? Is that the clothes they died in or something. Wouldnt they be stark nude seeing as they well arnt naturaly wearning clothes... So yea I dont belive I think t3h hax are strong with you.
If I believed in ghosts, thats what I would do...
[edit] in response to Moultano; even if it is true, it's not scary. We need blood, gore, and monsters in the shadows (and maybe even the things that go Bump at night) before we can start freaking out. If you can get a pic of those without dying, I will send you money and never sleep again. [/edit]
Told you. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> How would you figure something like that out by looking in a hex editor, though? It all just looks like garbage to me.
[EDIT:]
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->However, it does look a bit like a double exposure, which wouldn't require any photoshoppery, just camera h4x.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Are you kidding? With my camera? I can't even control the focus or colour correction. :/

One man's garbage is another man's porn in a hex editor.
:edit: there seems to be a long wave of discoloration eminating from her head
That's so weird, because I just went to that same park a couple days ago and saw the same thing. (I just happened to bring my camera too)
<img src='http://www.0x01a4.com/webimages/ghostfett.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
But when I was there, Boba Fett flew in and took the girl away kicking and screaming. The dogs kept barking and barking, but then Fett threw a thermal detonator down to the ground.
I really have no idea what that is. :/

You win the thread, even though this is a serious post. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I've calmed down a bit now, but I don't know how well I'm going to sleep tonight. This was just creepy. I think I'm gonna go back out there tomorrow and try to find her again... I want to see if I can get her attention.
The motion trails and very bright lights suggest a long exposure time, not a double exposure. LOL guys ghosts1!
if it's not a ghost then it must be the same field in 2 different times.
write the national geographic channel about it, if it's real maybe they will do some research, or mail your article/photo to a ghostbuster.
stuff happens in the world, it's part of our planet, stuff we can't explain...

Heh, as I said... My camera doesn't even let me set the focus manually. If you want to confirm this, go look for information on the Kodak EasyShare CX4230 digicam.
this is pretty damn creepy though... assuming you aren't tricking us <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Looks more like fire. Maybe someone killed her with fire? WITCH!
WANT
TO
BELIEVE.
Dude. do u have any idea. ANY of the slightest notion what has actually HIT you? <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Yeah... Go back and read every post I've ever made. I've written everything with the utmost care for grammar and spelling. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
And now that I reread it, I feel that the post was written horribly. Of course, I just copied exactly what I wrote down in my notebook on the way home, and you can't exactly write well when you're excited and scared at the same time...

I'd like to think that I do. What do you think, though? I'm interested in hearing your opinions...
