    You can't control what the media reports, so i don't understand why you complain. If you don't find it newsworthy, then why do you post here? Simply debate it or don't, but stop whining about the media because it's fruitless to do so.

    i am debating it, i said that they were perfectly fine shoes, but then snidely and you took my othe argument, and that was what made the thread come to this, i just ill cant see this as something worth broadcasting, but yes, i think they should wear those shoes, and think its perfectly fine, happy now?

    You can control what media outlets put on TV. Turn it off when its crap like this. perhaps then the manpower wasted on these stories can be put to use covering something that effects people's lives.

    and what does finding newsworthy material have anything to do with posting on these boards?

    My side on this issue: Who cares... people wear clothes that are comfortable, and in some cases expresses themselves through clothing. As long as the nessesary skin is covered and there isn't any rule against it what is there to complain about? what is there to talk about? what can we discuss? White house dress code? the always falling respect of newer generations? Discuss discussing about discussing an issue some feel needs heated discussions to resolve some non-existant problem?

    Edit: HOLY S#@T! has anyone seen that forum under offtopic called <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showforum=28' target='_blank'>"Discussions"?</a>

    when did they add that? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    You're talking about controlling what you watch, not what the networks decide to show. I still maintain you can't control what they decide to air.

    Do you think this is the first thread posted in Off Topic that was spurned from a news release? Uhm, no.

    What can we discuss? It's ALL been covered man, most of it more than once. Have you read the entire thread, including Rob's contributions? Lack of respect, etiquette, honoring the Commander in Chief ... the list goes on.

    Again, if you'd read the thread you'd see where I requested this be moved to Discussions, and Rob gave a valid reason why it should not be.

    Alright, enough of this shenanigan. This thread went from bad to worse. I suggest everyone take a step back and contemplate how much of a arse we've all been.
