I really can't be bothered to read the 6th after the huge let down the 5th was to me. After seeing the new book (which my mum managed to read within 14hours, what the hell is up with that woman. She reads a book a month normally) with some massive font and double line spacing it doesn't make me want to ready any more than the last. It took Rowling the longest length of time to produce this book out of all books, yet it's one of the shortest it seems.

In the next book Harry becomes a vigilante His pursuit of the Death Eaters and Voldemort eventually drains him of his humanity, driving away his last two friends, Ron and Hermoine (who get killed). Blinded with rage, Harry turns completely to the Dark Side, sacrificing babies, etc. for more power so that he can destroy his enemies, <i>WITHOUT REALIZING THAT HE HAS BECOME WHAT HE MOST HATES!!!</i> There's an epic battle in which Harry defeats Voldemort, then realizes he has nothing left to live for.
<u>SO HE DESTROYS THE WORLD.</u>
Or does he? Because when he said "I'm going to destroy the world.", he actually meant he was exposing magic to all Muggles everywhere, in effect destroying the society that the wizards and witches hadbuilt up over hundreds of years. Book ends there, leaving the possibility of a myraid of sequels involving the reconciliation of technology and magic.

Harry uses Ron Weasly's dad as a puppet to gain control of the ministry of magic. His girlfriend watches as everyone applauds and says "So this is how democracy falls. To thunderous applause." Then Harry's girlfriend (if he doesn't have one in the 6th he gets one in the 7th) gets pregnant, and they're also married but nobody knows because then Potter would be kicked out of Hogwarts. Then he goes to fight a war against Voldemort and the bad people with the help of a whole bunch of cloned house elves; it's called the "Clones War." Finally Harry has visions of his girlfriend dying to Voldemort so he turns evil tog et enough power to save her. Ultimately he's the one who kills her because he has turned evil. The end!

Wow, what a great book. I was really surprised when Harry admitted his true feelings for Ron, though. I mean, we all knew it was comming, but on the day he got engaged to Hermione? Gosh. Rowling, you've done it again.
