<div class="IPBDescription">Because this is the ultimate fight</div> I was discussing the different character versus characters I did on forums at work and the different results it got, and how the last one was a landslide (007 taking the win between Bond and Bourne). Before that, we had Riddick and Blade, and Riddick took the win on that one. I am keeping results for a bracket to pit two ultimate characters against each other, but for now I am sticking to similar genres. The winners of the genres go in a tourney, and then there will be a championship.

So now we pit two very popular, very witless people against each other:

    Everything always works out for the best with Homer. He's also shown to be pretty mean in a fight (although in the boxing episode he's also shown he can't throw a punch). He can be pushed over backwards over a fire hydren, probably snapping his back, and survive. That whole skateboard over a ravine thing too, he survived that.

    Basically everything always works out good for Homer, no matter what it is. Bundy is a perpetual loser. So Homer would win.

    The Homer comedy is briliant and has much variation. Bundy humor is always the same and boring at times...

    So I would say Homer wins in the comedy department.


    Besides this isn't the actual ultimate showdown. Since Bundy already lost before it started. This would be a real showdown if it was, Peter Griffin VS Homer Simpson.     In combat: Homer, he's an unceasing ball of impenetrable of gelatinous fat and overly thick bone; although, technically, one more cannon shot to the belly should do him in. Al Bundy would probably sit on the couch and complain that he has to get up to do battle, and get sat on or something while he scratches himself.


    In comedy: Bundy, he's got some modicum of dignity left. All Homer's antics have been downhill for about 6 years now - where Homer acts stupid, but somehow ends up in the right (usually screwing up something in Lisa's life and fixing it...or something to that effect). Bundy has varied antics and decent wit; joke on Marcy are almost always funny, and he's always got Family Guy-esque interludes while watching TV.


    Peter Griffin owns them both, however <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> .

    I'll have have to vote for the underdog AL since most people here probably arn't old enough to even know who he is anymore, and appreciate the Married with Children humor. There's something about a bald guy sitting on a couch masterbating with a beer in his hand that never gets old, even episode after episode season after season.

    Al is so much smarter than Homer. he turns his underwear inside-out on wednesdays so they'll be clean for the rest of the week!
