To tell the truth, I don't really care. I mean, it's a friggin' crazy thing to do, but it's not like I dislike the guy now, he's a great guy. And it's not like im losing sleep over this cat, **** happens.

At this point, I don't think that there would be anything that the police could do. It would just cause you more hassel than it would be worth. It's too bad that it happened.

I, myself, am a kitty lover (I have 2 black kittens) and it sickens me that people do that without recourse. I mean how do we even know any of this even happened? One person already replied "lies" in response to this post which let's be honest, is a distinct possibility. Secondly, how do you know there is any evidence of this? Any material evidence at all? How do we know that other person didn't lie to the post author even? Hanging is way overboard, take a moment to pratice self-control before lashing out irrationally.

PS: When I see evil cruelty I do something about it but resist going ballistic and violent as much as possible. So don't think for a second I'm condoning this action, that is if it even happened. Cruelty and torure are the darkest evils in humanity, they are inexcuseable.

Guys we have these topic every so often in the Off Topic forum. There's something like "eating babies" and it is intentionally done to cause a disturbance and attract attention.

We had this debate before yes we can see the humor in such jokes (like BulletHead's amusing/disturbing cartoon in this thread) are funny but try to to be insenitive because sometimes it's real, it's cruel and not funny at all. It's a balance and needs to be used with caution.

If this action really happened yes it was inhumane but let's get a reality check before we cast stones ok. For those Christians out there I could say WWJD in this instance. And from a legal standpoint hearsay circumstantial evidence about a catslaughter will get about as much attention as a person cutting down a tree.

Have any of you ever seen the Futurama episode with the Fishy Joe's Poplars and remember that Hippy character in it? Well people like him could be very upset about the catslaughter (again, assuming it happened).

This increasingly hypothetical thread is just rehashing a thing most of the people here already know. It's a balance, know your audience, tread lightly, just chill...

I am quite anti-PETA, and even I think that this is disgusting. An animal was killed wrongfully, the only reason was that he was annoyed with it.
