    Yay I have a vote.

Actually I have my formal/prom today too so no point in ending this until I get back at least. Still looks like there's a bit of decision making going on anyhow.

Actually about the wizard, alright it'll be changed so if the wizard sees all 3 wolves, wolves and wizards will automaticly be informed who each other are. So if the wizard finds one wolf, the wizard may try to ask the wolf who the other 2 are. The seer can probably pretend to be the wizard easily as well, if he finds a wolf, but it may be risky (or someone else).'

The guardian also finds out who the player, who was successfully guarded (if attacked) is. The wolves can attack the same person twice, but this time the guardian is mainly to slow the process of humans dying, by giving an extra day or two for humans. If the seer and guardian ever get in contact, this will be a powerful combo, the seer will be protected, and maybe someone else in the network of humans (if the seer made it with the humans he/she found).

Also since I changed it so the wizard has to see all 3 wolves before all 4 of them automaticly find out who both each other are (by the host), the Physic knows if the wizard found any wolves, also told the number of wolves as well.

Also while the wizard may be trying to find the wolves, maybe decoy roles (which are regular humans) could go around confusing pretty much everyone <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> .

Aw man, I'm so tempted to post my idea, but Freak has forbade it <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->. It's really hard to keep up with these things when you're not involved in the game directly.

I like that solution, <b>Petco</b>. You get my vote.

This means that for every day's complete cycle they have 1/5 of the vote controlled (enough for an easy lynching) and an auto death. Add to this the fact that the Wolves don't have to think even less about who they kill because there's that 50% chance that if they do attack the Wizard they can wrap up the game in a matter of days. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I disagree with that. If the wolves vote together, then it will be easy to figure out who they are, just like in any other version. If a wolf draws suspicion, it will still be difficult for the other wolves to save them. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
I disagree with that. If you're clever enough you can easily pile on the votes in stages.

    Wolf1 votes Mr.X
    Wolf2 votes Mr.A
Wolf3 waits to vote Mr.X after he gets a few more votes, making an argument sound better than it is with some creative language
Wolf2 says something along the lines of it being a very convincing argument and he totally has to change his vote.

Wow that's so suspicious! -and you only have to vote like that for the really big targets. In the beginning the humans will get voted off in any case if the Wolves play their cards right. They just have to make their kills and use ploys like this (oh yes, there are more) once they have a larger proportion of the vote.

Just to add to that I need to correct myself. They have 1/5 of the vote on day one, continuing to 1/4 of the vote on day three, and so on. Although we can probably ignore day one as 1/5 because the Wizard probably won't have made contact. Still it's an incredibly flimsy set of rules if left unchanged.

    ---

The slight change makes quite a bit of difference, but I still think the Wizard is too powerful, and the only reason he's too powerful is because of the suped-up Guardian. Keep the Guardian normal and increase the Wizard's chance of being Wolfed to 66-75% and I might vote for it. As it stands none of the games are getting me intrested enough to make this round my first try at TWG.

Why can't we see Renegade's rules?

    ---

@Petco: Can the guardian protect two humans per night, every night?

Maybe we ought to make a list of possible hosts now, for the game after this one. When this next game ends, put the list in the post-game thread and we can make sure that anyone who's interested is aware that host elections will start soon.

Next time around I'll start a new thread asking for new host applications. But I'm always accepting as soon as the postgame thread goes up.

Crispy, I believe for Petco's, the Guardian can only guard 2 people a night as long as more than 50% of the players are alive.

    Also, the votes stand at:

Petco - 6 (im lost, UnderDOG, Sky, Crispy, EMP Demon, Snidely)
    Freak83 - 2 (Freak83, Soul Rider)
Theslan - 3 (Theslan, TheMuffinMan, Fatal Error)

This has gone on for a few days now, any objections to closing this and giving it to Petco?

Crispy, that's actually a lot harder to pull off than it sounds. In the end, people will look at where people cast their votes, and not their explanations. All wolves voting together (regardless how they try to disguise it) is always a big risk.

Which is why I said it should only be used in certain situations (voting off the upstarts because if it reaches the night then the other timezoners will have heard too much). But I don't wanna go into too much detail otherwise I won't have any tricks up my sleeve to help save the Humans, I mean, <i>us</i> <!--emo&::marine::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yeah I forgot that bit F83, by the way you forgot to withdraw my vote from Petco.
