And yes, I'm a martial arts newbie. Like i said, only had a few lessons so far, though I must say my balance has increased DRAMATICLY!

Stick with the psyche/freak out, don't go with the "**** off." One missed block and you could be seriously boned. Of course, missing blocks tends to bone people anyway, so *shrug* As others have already said, the most important thing your martial arts instructor can teach is avoidance. Unless it's necessary, don't get into a fight. Do everything you can to avoid said fight. Your "ego" will survive, even if you know you could beat your opponent.
You know what would be a funny match? That ghetto kid against a ticked off 300 lb. Silverback gorilla. I would ****ing pay money to see that. Something about the concept... I just <i>know</i> it'd be hilarious.
