How Fast Do You Type?
Well, I've been asking around on a few different forums just trying to see how fast most people type.. I usually type about 90-100wpm. So how about yourself?

I think its a little off, because i type very fast, i just have bad accuracy because of my bad vocabulary. I type from memory, so read a sentence, then write it, as i read one sentence im typing another. On my old "Mario Teaches Typing" Floppy installed game, made in the 80's i got around 80/90.
Which is a shame because I can type faster than I can think.
I can type much faster if I', not trying to copy somthing from somebody else though.
Second try is at 55 wpm and 80% accuracy
98%, 1 mistake, 69 wpm. This 98% accuracy does not take count of errors I make but immediately correct, so I can't use a typewriter <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Second run on another text:
98% accuracy, 1 mistake, 98 wpm. I guess it's pretty consistant. I misspelled automobile? :x
Edit: right, there's no comma before and.

However, that aside, if you complete their three paragraphs they make you start over <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I could probably do better, but I am tired this afternoon.
Yes netspeed is subtracting your errors. (Which makes little sense since most people who need to type for a living do so with a spell check/grammar check.)

I got 77 on this... partially because I can't see to read it to well and had a few errors (god who DOESN"T capitalize the Scientific names?)
Someone please get the reference.

O_o
99 for me first try, I typed faster when I was younger (130's, 140's), on Mavis Beacon at school a little while back I was a consistent 120. The amazing part is I use only my two pointer fingers, except thumb for spacebar. It's a feat to behold.
