Creating A Ftp/shared Drive

<div class="IPBDescription">...pretty sure it should be easy</div> I think I heard somewhere that XP has an option somewhere on the Control Panel for this, but how can I make a shared drive over my router's network for quickly transferring files between commercials (e-mailing them to another computer has grown somewhat tiresome...). So, how can I set up an easy transfer system between the computers in my home?


(Simple drag and drop would be best...although, I think it might be possible through some other weird means).



Any help would be appreciated.

Pop in XP setup disk and click files and settings transfer wizard

Actually you could use user state migration tools too, thats under administrative tools.

Therefore you go and get serv-u FTP server and click, click, click, and DONE.

Oh as for router you will just have to specify that it opens tcp and udp port 21.
