Sandwiches
<div class="IPBDescription">What do you put on them?</div> As I sit here eating my sandwich I wonder, "What do the other forumites put on their sandwiches?"
My sandwich currently contains: 2 slices white bread
about 1/4 inch of ham
grated cheese
cottage cheese
Tabasco sauce

Whats Texas toast when its at home? I'm intrigued..
It was actually put together by a mate of mine when I saw a pre-packaged sandwich in a shop and remarked that it was the ultimate sandwich. He then, for some reason, made his goal to prove me otherwise. And he did.
For starters this was made out of an entire baguette. The fillings were:
-Lettuce
-Cheese
-Bacon
-Sausages (fried, cut in half, then fried again on the inside)
-Tomato
-Salami
-Salad cream
It was a monster, and it was truly a god amoung sandwiches. My mate and I ate a third each for our dinner that night, with the final third going into cling-film for the next day. Now we're looking for somewhere that sells really big baguettes so that we can make an even bigger one.

Texas Toast is Texas Toast, whether it's eaten in Florida, Mississippi, Denmark, or Iraq. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Butter
Pepper
Tomato Sauce
Ham
Cheese
Butter
Bread
In that order...
Though I do like cheese and honey backed ham occasionally.
'nuff said
turkey w/ yellow american cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo on a kaiser roll
honey ham w/ swiss on a poppyseed bagle
genoa salami w/ provolone on a sesame bagle
Everyone else is probably like "Whoa, that's some nasty crap."
almost any kind of salami
provelone, mozzerella, or havarti cheese
lettuce
tomato
in large enough quantities to stack 1-2 inches high
sometimes turkey....
Put it in a roll, bun, slice, or peice of bread, preferring crusty white bread to most.
It dosen't even need any sauces <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Let me rephrase my question, Mr. Pedantic. What is it about the aforementioned "Texas Toast" that makes it different from what the rest of the world calls "Toast"? Is it merely because it is made from the finest bread made in Texas? Or is there some sort of extra ingredient or sauce or other foodstuff that makes "Texas Toast" so awesome?
Wow you don't have spring onions? Guess what, I dont have Texas Toast <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
