My major issue is the entities, like barrels. I despise losing control in any game. I also have a problem with movement, it seems like I get stuck to walls and the floor.

Somehow half life seems more solid, better constructed almost. I know how to move myself in hl1, but in hl2 it just seems out of control. If anyone else experiences this, let me know. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
CL_SMOOTH should be set to 0 on every client. This will most likely fix your problem, if there is one. But yes, Source will still feel different.

I've never noticed lag in a good netcoded game (CS:S), so I dobut NS:S will be any diffrent.

I used to think source had some really bad netcode but then i got a new processor and realised what I was perviecing as lag/bad netcode actually just a low frame rate and minimal lag interfering with each other. Now i cant speak for anyone else but I find the hitboxes accurate enough, the only problem I do have is the pushback you get from barrels and other phys objects in css.

Yeah, coming from someone who I doubt knows how to code. Cause I'm sure you know that they hacked it together, even though they're the one that created all of the graphics related code, netcode, and tweaked the physcode to all insane degrees. Try knowing what you're talking about. God, hacked together....idiot <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
Now now child, no need to get so upset. I'm sure you also think the Battlecruiser games are the most stable programs ever designed by man.
