Let the signups begin!

As i explained in the last topic, TWG (The werewolf game) is a fun forum game where you get to lie, scheme, play tricks and get to know other forum members. Just a bit of information, and then you can sign up to play.

The rules for the game can be found here. They may look complex at first glance, but the game is actually pretty damned simple. If you do not understand anything, feel free to ask in the role playing forum, in this thread or throw a pm my way. The TWG IRC Channel is #ns-twg on gamesurge.net.

You will need :

A postcount of at least 100. This is to stop anyone from creating a second account in order to throw the game. Unlike last game, however, there will be exceptions to this rule. Anyone who has shown interest in the game (Kerotan, Planetkiller, etc) will be allowed to play.

Time. You do not need to spend every waking moment playing the game, but you definitely need to spend some time each night (if possible) playing. Do not sign up for the game if you are planning a vacation within the next month or so. Also, due to his inactivity in the last game, Docchimpy will be banned from playing in TWG V.

An IRC client. This is not absolutely necessary, but it helps a hell of a lot. Popular IRC clients include mirc and hydraIRC.

Additional information :
There will be 18 players in this game, 4 of which will be wolves. One slot is reserved for Lolfighter, the host of the previous game, so there will be 17 slots available. Slots are given out on a first come, first serve basis like just like in the last game, but there will be one major change. There are 9 open slots at the moment, and i will edit my post with another 8 spaces at 21:00 GMT

The game will start on Monday 2nd May, 19:00 GMT

To sign up, please start your post with "I sign up", followed by your timezone. This is so we know if you are inactive, or simply asleep

    I sign up... EDT...

(Can't we just say "I'm in" instead? I mean... This is like saying "I join team!" or "I type memo!")

EDIT: I believe we're GMT -4 this month... Stupid daylight savings...

    Sign up, GMT +8

(I could have sworn GMT +8 meant the signups were 1 hour later. Must be some time thing I'm not taking into account)

Wow, these signups really filled up quickly. Remember that there are no longer any spaces left until 21:00 GMT, so please do not post any signup posts before then

However, a little bump can't hurt now can it? My timezone is GMT +1 (a.k.a. CET). And it's just a detail, but I appreciate if my name is spelled with a lowercase l, like so: lolfighter. It just looks better that way.

Actually, it will take place in just over an hour. Britain is now GMT +1 (thanks to daylight savings). This confused the hell out of me, but we might as well keep to the set times and not muddle things up any more than they already are.

I guess I'm GMT -7 then? I assumed GMT changed with daylight savings time, but I guess it makes sense that it doesn't. It was even better last game at the beginning when daylight savings time had changed in Europe, but not in the US yet.

I'll go for it again and hope the wolves don't choose to kill me first this time.

    EST.

    I hear that's GMT - 5.

I don't know how much truth there is to that.
