Anyways I do believe the correct answer to this thread's question was no, however I do remember that I suggested to make OC fire faster near OC's and have increased damage in closer proximity to water. It was brutally flamed to the ground. (this was before "mandatory niceness" legislation was passed by the overlord & messiah of the I&S. I speak of Zunni of course)
On the subject of MCs modifying gestation bars.. That bar is nothing but an indication of your current Energy level. Every time the MC pulses and gives you energy, it jumps up, then is set back down to what should be the norm for that gestation period. Same goes for Onos devouring Marines. You'll notice that at one point the bar was pretty functional, telling you exactly how far along digesting that Marine you were, but now it only shows up when your Energy drops below 100%.
It's remarkably annoying and I wish they'd find some other placeholder for a timer instead of Energy levels, since they fluctuate so much.
