<div class="IPBDescription">Free Pizza! :D</div> Well, last night, a few of my friends were over and one of them was hungry so he ordered pizza from dominos.co.uk. So taking a look through the list, trying to decide what to buy, he sees this.

<img src='http://dump.creativeblank.com/freepizza.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

Yeah, a large pizza (As disgusting as the toppings may be...) for £0.00. Nothing. He adds it to the order and proceeds to check out. Ok, minimum order is £7 or something, so he goes back and gets the pizza he actually wants, and it's just showing up at around £8. He hits check out, the total amount still sits around £8, he puts in the deliver details and sends it, and it sends.

Cut to about 25 minutes later, the delivery guy turns up, asks for the £8 or so for 2 pizzas, a medium and a large, and doesn't actually stop to do any math, says thanks and leaves.

Free pizza.

I'm not sure if this is my local Dominos that's screwed up their pricing, if anyone else in the UK can check it out, it'd be cool, but that screenie was taken about 5 minutes ago, it's still listed as free. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

EDIT: And the boxes.... Notice the 1/2 2/2 and the fact that £7.35 is way too cheap for 2 pizzas. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Why bother buying a second pizza? Or why buy only one free pizza? You're not being logical here <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Well the main reason was to see if we could get a free pizza. And yes, you can.

But it's not entirely unheard of to buy 2 pizzas at a time if you're buying for multiple people, and if someone likes that one and can get it free, it's all good. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

And when it comes to getting free stuff, everything's logical.

I think he said it was an $8 minimum...
I would buy an $8 pizza and then 1000 free pizzas. They would never notice.

Pizza Hut don't do it in the UK, which sucks, but i've grown to prefer Dominos now. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

One of the childish perks of ordering online is that you can give any name you like when ordering it. I was working on a little project of getting together as many stupid names on pizza boxes as i could, but pizza costs money, and it was kinda childish.

But a pizza made out to Captain Arsebeard is still pretty funny. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

IIRC, Pizza Pizza takes online orders now too. "40 min or it's free" It was free one time... Oh well, we paid anyways. That sucked.

As I live in NYC (and thus have better pizza 5 mins from anywhere) I only took advantage of these compleate acts of lazyness (is it realy that hard to call em up?) when I was in Ohio (but then we loved it!)

It's just as easy to call them up as it is to order on the internet, no more lazy, no less, and the added bonus that you actually have a menu handy whereas when calling up Dominos, i don't.

hehe, with my roommates it was generaly easier to use the net (As we didn't have to leave the living room to get a phone, as we had a computer there <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->)

Infact, just about every place in the house had a computer just as close (if not closer) to a it then a phone <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The main plus i neglected to add really is that the trip to go there, wait for the pizza, then come back takes more time than just ordering it from home too. Takes about 35-40 minutes whereas delivery is 25 minutes, and i don't use petrol doing it either.

    And i am lazy too.
