Actually, the minigames in MarioDS eat up a lot of my time... Mario Bounce, and Bob-omb Sort are my favorites, but I have a metric assload left to unlock. Damn rabbits... they hide everywhere! And never in a place that I can just grab 'em and take the key. No, they're running around on the BOTTOM of bridges, upside down. GAH!
And the PSP doesn't impress me. With reports of two-hour battery run-times (on a four-hour charge), failing Square buttons, outright broken triangle buttons, units being shipped with scratched or even outright cracked screens.... I'm glad I bought a DS.
Actually, the one title I'm REALLY waiting for (and is an obvious port!) is MarioPaint. Screw the PictoChat stuff. Give me MarioPaint, and the ability to upload my pictures to a laptop via the wireless link. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Budgeting your daily/weekly/monthly spendings means you can buy the good stuff. Price hunting means you can find the quality cheap stuff. Savings means you have the funds.

I can't use handheld consoles, because I do the swing-your-controller-around-to-try-to-make-the-car-turn-faster thing, meaning when I tried to play F-Zero on my advance, I couldn't see anything because I was waving the goddamn thing around :O. Not to mention I'd rather have a DS. Goldeneye 64 for shizzle!
My resolve failed. I bought a DS the other day. I'm not disapointed.
When it comes down to it, it's got some good games (imo) and is cheap compared to the PSP. The PSP will ocme out at, what? £250? And the games will cost something like £50 each? That's just over the top.
For me, though, Advance Wars DS will make or brake the system. If they pull it off, then I probably won't get a PSP for a long time. If they fail, I'll probably jump ship.

I was originally just going to buy both portables but seeing the price and game titles I'm seriously not sure if I'm going to get the PSP now. Haven't regretted the DS yet though :3 Funnily enough I swear I've spent most of the time playing the GBA zelda on it more than anything else though lol.
Zookeeper keeps me happily occupied during bus trips and stuff though ^^

lol, I don't buy stuff if I can't afford it but the actual sum of money isn't what bothers me; it's the fact it's £200 or so for a handheld console. Don't know about you guys but that strikes me as wrong :/
I still have trouble believing prices over £100 for handhelds... you'd be lucky if I was willing to pay over £150 for a home console let alone a portable :p
If the price is due to the audio/video abilities, it'd be nice if they'd release a version without those features. Really, all I need is a gameplaying device to fill in the times I can't get to my computer. I already have an MP3 player.
Well it's around £179.99 for the PSP and £39.99 PER GAME. Or I could buy a DS for a much cheaper price all-round with a quality and reliable product, with great games.

Lemme see. I could buy a DS and practically play the same games I used to play on my N64 and new sequels to games. (though AW:DS on multiplayer sounds best thing) Or,I could buy a portable PS2/DVD player and perhaps get decent versions of PS2 games on it,like hopefully Dynasty Warriors 4 (please) and PES4 or Mercs.
