    Rehash? No dear, they're sequels, and excellent sequels at that - if reviews and forumite opinions are anything to go by. Have you even played Ridge Racers or Wipeout Pure? Then there's Lumines! The PSP launch lineup crushes the DS's; even the new Wario Ware game is a massive disappointment.

    That's exactly the reason why I'm not getting a DS all the GBA was really was a collection of rehashed SNES games, the DS is blatently gonna be rehashes of N64 games....

    Personally something about Sony strikes a bad chord with me. Looking at my PS2, I don't really find myself playing it that often... I've got GTAIII, Devil May Cry, Onimousha, FFX, ZoE: 2, and MGS2. Though not bad, none of those games really had a lasting effect.

    Actually, come to think of it, the console that ends up winning most of my hours is still my Dreamcast =\

    But in second comes Gamecube.     my co worker picked up the psp today.

    yah, it looks realy nice....

    but who the frik wants to watch spider man 2 on a friken 4" scrn?

    I didn't see any of the games as he forgot to bring it....

    the controlls look nice, the joystick feels sweet, the memstick pisses me off (I hate gum sticks b/c of sony and their proprietary crap).

    and the launch line up does nothing for me (atleast DS had mario sixt... err DS on it).

    I am waiting to see if either of them actualy comes out with good games (and if DS does that wireless hot spot thing)....

    both are great systems with no software to buy for em. (yes, I hate racing gameS)

    For almost every PS2 game you name, there's an (arguably) superior sequel to sink your teeth into. GTA: San Andreas. MGS3. Devil May Cry 3. Onimusha 2 and 3.
