<div class="IPBDescription">First One: Ramen Sandwich.</div> What are your Ramen Noodle Recipies?
<!--QuoteBegin-Ramen Sandwich+--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (Ramen Sandwich)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--><u>Ingredients:</u>
Ramen Noodles
Bread
Frank's Red Hot (optional)
<u>Preparation</u>
So you cook the ramen like normal: Wait for the water to boil, put it in for three minutes... You don't put the seasoning packet in though.
You also need to toast some bread. I don't think I need to give directions on that.
Once the ramen is cooked up to your liking, get out a strainer and pour it through that to get rid of most of the water. (You still want it to have water in it, so don't do it too much) You then put it back in the pan and empty the seasoning packet on it. Stir the noodles until the seasoning is mixed in, and then put the noodles between two pieces of toast.
I personally really like putting a gracious helping of Frank's Red Hot on my sandwich, but that's up to you.
The sandwich really only uses about half of a ramen brick, so you might want to make two, feed two people, eat half as a side, or just break the brick in half and save half before cooking.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Credits go to my older brother's girlfriend, the proffesional cook, who came up with this recipe. She also made something inovlving egg, but I don't know that recipe too well.

Ramen noodle stir fry ftw! (This is not cost effective)
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->
Ingredients:
Three packages of ramen noodle chinese and one package of ramen noodle beef/roast.
One bag of carrots, or you can use one bag of diced carrots.
One bag of broccolli (you don't have to eat it, adds nice flavor)
One pound or half-pound of Jimmey Dean Hot Susage.
1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt.
1/2 teaspoon of Lowery's Seasoning.
Directions:
If you haven't cut the carrots and bracolli up yet, make sure to do so now, preferablly in small bit sized bits.
Brown the susage to a slighty darker color then normal (preferably till it turns a medium brown)
Cook the noodles like normal, albiet do not add the seasoning yet, drain completely.
Throw the noodles, the four packets of seasoning, susage, carrots, and bracolli into a medium sized skillet.
Turn the heat on medium (if using a stove), and add 1/4 cup of water, add garlic salt and lowery's seasoning, stir for about 10 to 15 mins, till sizzling, and serve with garlic bread or other preferable bread product. :-)

I have more recipes, but they don't involve ramen noodles.
I might need to try cooking up some new recipies this week since I have a lan party on thursday. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
edit: Yup. Professional. She works at a restaraunt. It's amazing what they need to do though, it's not just cooking like normal humans. They need to cut everything to exact lengths. Like each thing has a specific length and way that they are supposed to be cut so they look uniform and nice. It's pretty strange. She also has to take a cook test at some interval, not sure how often it is. She actually catered my last LAN party. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> We had some great quesidillas and hotdogs. It was great.
Here's a recipe I used to try... I never perfected it though:
<!--QuoteBegin-Fried Ramen+--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (Fried Ramen)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--><u>Ingredients:</u>
Ramen Noodles
Olive Oil
<u>Preperation:</u>
Once again, cook the noodles like normal and then drain.
Now put some olive oil in the pan, and put the drained noodles in. Stir them around letting them fry up a little... Take them off, put on a plate, and eat.

It tastes mad good, but also mad unhealthly. The problem with this recipe is that the ramen gets a little dry when you try to fry it, so it's a tough balancing act there.
yum yum <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yes, if you don't put in the water, you will end up with scorch marks on the noodles and that doesn't exactly taste very good. If you dont' want to put in the broccoli I would suggest some parsley to preserve the chinese mix flavour.
I also hail as a professional cook not through schooling though, just self taught and wonderful improvisional catering.
1 Pkg Ramen (what ever you like, I use beef or chicken)
2 handfulls each frozen peas and frozen corn (I use large handfulls)
3-4 stalks of scallions (diced)
3 frozen dumplings (I use scalion dumplings)
some bokchoy (sp?)
Boil 2 cups water and fry up the dumplings (or boil if you prefer)
once water is boiling toss in everything (cept the dumplings)
boil till noodles are desired tenderness (I like em still sorta crispy)
pour into a large bowl and top with dumplings.
And the entire thing still costs much less then a buck per serving (even with the dumplings if yah get the right ones <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
Take one package ramen noodles.
Smash the f***er with your fist on a hard surface untill it's in smaller (but not too small!) chunks.
Empty contents into a microwave safe bowl.
Add water (just enough to cover noodles, not too much!)
Insert in microwave for 3 minutes.
Remove from microwave (caution it will be really really flipping hot!)
Add a generous helping of Tabasco brand hot sauce. (Chipotle flavor is favorable)
Eat it all up, it's tasty.
I prefer the boiling water method not breaking up the noodles (so get nice long ones), and then using a hell of alot of Frank's Red Hot Sauce.
I personally like the Jalapeno flavor of tabasco the most. It's just so delicious. Especially on crackers.
The problem with my olive oil recipe is that it kind of sucks in the olive oil... I think I need to heat the oil up more first, but I'm not sure. I haven't done that recipe in a while, I might try it later this week.

Heh, that sounds really good...
edit: if you dont finish the soup, you can always put rice in whats left over. its just as good

Ok, seriously, put the noodles in the water befor the water starts boiling, cuts down on time and makes it easier to get it right. (personal hater of overboiled ramen)
(yeah, I'm korean (half anyway, get imported ramen from korea (the best the best the best!)) so my ramen-advices are God)
Yeah, but my white-man hotpockets>all.

*drool*
1. Cook normally (in either boiling water or in a Pyrex cup)
2. Strain so all water is... not there
3. Drown noodles in Parmesian cheese (the dry-ish kind that you sprinkle onto pizza or pasta, not the actual cheese)
Delicious, imho.
if I feel adventurous... I go with Spaghetti and MeatBalls <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
